Pummel the Pirates Game Thread

Agree – he's bee awful. I do think there are mitigating circumstances, tho.

And I guarantee you he takes over down the stretch and rescues a win for us here.

He needs to get serious about his game. It's so obvious not much work was put into his jumper. He's not that good.

Hope he rescues a win for us against ECU at home.

I don't know if anyone else saw it but Ollie and Cobb got into a heated argument on bench and Ollie told him if he didnt like it to head to the locker room.....

"Too bad he wasn't such a liar." Pretty sure that doesn't mean what you think it means.

Again, you're in your 50's. What's your excuse?

You need to answer a question for once, how can you expect to win any game or compete with Jalen Adams playing like that? Give me your best response unless of course you weren't watching anything but the sidelines..

Come back? Surely they don't think they will sniff the nba anytime soon, right? If they are leaving for some league overseas fine, but anything beyond that is laughable

First of all, they will both get paid to play basketball somewhere. There's no doubt about that. Second, Larrier I believe is on record as saying he wasn't planning on coming back but Adams hasn't said anything in either direction.

Having said that, I think both could improve their stock by coming back next year, and it would make us better too...

3rd it would help tremendously if Terry Larrier guarded someone on the other end, thank you for making shots no doubt but it will help the cause to know you need to stay with your man or in the area of your zone a few times.

About what sj, excuse for what?

Talking basketball?
Ripping on players and not the guy who makes over 3 mil. to coach them?

Having no grasp of the English language?

Throwing temper tantrums like you're a child?

That's what Whaley gives you...

There's plenty that agree and I don't care you keep trying to grab people for your agenda if that makes you happy, you're nothing around here but a pos. The more you have around you in that circle as a pivotman I'm sure that is good at least for you lol:confused:
Obviously I have whoever you are speaking about/replying to but I must have them on ignore!!!
Thinking of adding a few more right now but sometimes these folks have some insight but their agenda gets in the way
If it warrants that KO goes - he goes - it's not up to you me or any of the "experts"
I have coached over 25 years and I can see KO's flaws and his strength - some of the things beyond his control play such a huge part in the scenario
I just want UConn to return to where it was but right now the hand it was dealt makes it awful difficult - for nearly all sports

Of course they will, no disagreements there. Maybe it would be beneficial for both to get to leave and get their asses kicked in some type of professional league, to wake them up because college sure ain't doing it. Both are very talented, but need to really work on the weak points of their games.

Wow you're a tremendous writer john - "Ollie sucks" wow English language major huh?

Again not ripping on the players just throwing out facts, facts that help your agenda.

3rd not a tantrum, just having to deal with idiots like you who do nothing but put their blinders on every game and forget who they root for makes me real angry. It's shouldn't because you're a joke, the biggest one here now and everyone knows, but it does. Later no more here.

If I'm either one of them, I'm thinking about an extra year to work on my game, get big stats, and make myself a first rounder...

OK now I know the dwebe you are interacting with!!!

I'm not saying he's doing a good job I have said that, just being a total a-wipe and not having any other viewpoint is childish, like a little baby (s).

Neither have a shot at that. They might make themselves second rounders. Right now Jalen might be a second rounder, Terry would go undrafted.

Anderson scored. Wow.

That's not even remotely true. They just aren't there right now because each had a hole in their game. That's what the extra year is for. Fix your deficient area and each one is a first rounder...

I think KO should just ban 3pt shots at this point, same as turnovers

Imo opinion, no way Adams gets drafted right now. Who wants a tweener guard with no point guard skills at all, who can't shoot, and plays no DEFENSE? I think he COULD improve all facets of his game, but time is running out for him.

This team has two bad qualities. They go through stretches where they get lazy on defense and stretches where they don't want to pass and dribble themselves into horrible turnovers or hoist up quick terrible shots.

I know Mau, you and I have both criticized KO and deservingly so BUT as you and I understand - there's more to the whole picture than KO sucks - fire him

Coming off a 50-minute outing two days ago in which he led the team in points, rebounds and assists, and basically created every single look we got.

Wonder why he appears so gassed today...
Fancies himself a future pro, does he? Don’t they play back-to-back and 3 games in 4 in the NBA at times?
