Sanogo had 18 in 2022 against St. John;s.What's the most rebounds a Husky has had in a regulation game in the past 10 years? 18 is a lot!

He does so much standing at the wing/corner 3 doing absolute nothing on offense. No motion, no anticipation, absolutely nothing. The first I would be doing if I was him was figuring out how to contribute that isn’t waiting around for a kick out pass. It’s hard to understand if it’s his own doing or its a design to get him out of the way of the guys we need to shoot. His box score today in 17 minutes was bonafide useless. It’s maddening and recurring. I don’t know what you do with that kid honestly - he’s a wingnut.Stew had a solid, workmanlike game? What game did you watch? He was passive, took two bad threes, missed a couple of box outs that directly led to points, and was his typical self on D.
I have a hard time believing that Nowell is the future. He looks to me like the Rakim Lubin of guards.
I hear you, but Mahaney stinks. He came in today, promptly misses the front end of the 1 and 1 and fouls a Providence player. That's what he does. I would rather roll with Nowell right now, as I think Mahaney is a net negative on both sides of the ball.
Have to respectfully disagree. Mahaney isn’t the answer especially if you have an eye on the future.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer pack of people.there were a few times when cameras panned to a drunk student section sloshing their beers all over each other.
Dude. You’re being that guy. The context of our conversation was clearNext year possibly not but he will be a pro eventually so by @Agent 0 word isn't wrong now he might have meant to say NBA then that's another thing.
Your just jumping to conclusions, don't need to get sensitive. Don't even know why we're talking about next year anyways it's March.Dude. You’re being that guy. The context of our conversation was clear
CBB has become a more ruthless business than ever in the age of NIL.
Danny is fiercely loyal to his players and by all measures Mahaney seems to be a great kid.
But he’s just not going to improve enough for next year to justify his place in the NIL budget. I’m sad to see it but we have to pivot.
Neither Mahaney or Nowell is the answer right now, that's the problem.Have to respectfully disagree. Mahaney isn’t the answer especially if you have an eye on the future.

Cooper Flagg isn’t scared of anyone or anything. This Superman has no Kryptonite! With Reed dominating, Danny finally now has the inside/outside balance for a 3-Peat. No one will want to play us in the Tourney!

Exactly, honestly wasn't even trying to be that guy though you misread my post. This Board.
This is a pedantic response. Sorry I am not with you as far as basketball performance. Alex's shooting numbers look better as of recent games and we have almost 3 years of shooting data for Alex to show he was shooting unusually bad for a stretch of games. And I am really just using the term to describe the regression to Alex's mean shooting numbers anyways. As for gambler's fallacy, I am not talking about gambling or coin flipping and the fact that a gambler has a finite amount of money to be gambling with which is why you can't think about law of averages for that. There is no “law of averages” that says you will shoot better after you’ve been in a slump.
Thinking that there is such such a law that could “kick in“ leads to the gambler’s fallacy
Acting like he was saying Alex will never be pro when his point was that we don't know what Alex will do next year is still weird.Your just jumping to conclusions, don't need to get sensitive. Don't even know why we're talking about next year anyways it's March.
100%. His post really is pedantic nonsense. It's not like there's a small sample size for Alex's performance. Alex went through an unusual shooting slump even for him.Good lord, this is so pedantic. You know what he’s saying, you know how that phrase is used colloquially, and it’s absolutely a valid point. We have 2.5 years of history showing that AK is not a 10% three point shooter.
Providence has been undermanned all year, so what you are saying is a moot point. Was Providence undermanned today? Believe me I’m happy with the win but if they had regular starters out that would be a reality check.
You mean like he was in Maui?Do we want to win games or give experience. How much good will it do to play Nowell 8 minutes or less a game for 4,5 or 6 more games. That will prepare him better for next year ?
Think Mahaney will be a bigger plus when we get to the NCAA tourney and away from the Big East physicality.
I don’t think English is a bad coach. He doesn’t have great personnel.Another point of note? PC has English paid for 5 more years. Not sure how much a school like that could eat to cut him loose. They could be really bad for a while.
This is a really tough one. Ross has proven he’s a zero. At least Jaylen has shown glimpses, and it’s way more than once. He has to figure out a way to up his intensity or it’s just never gonna happen for him. He is infinitely more talented than Ross.He does so much standing at the wing/corner 3 doing absolute nothing on offense. No motion, no anticipation, absolutely nothing.
