Ah. Yep. For some reason thought PC called timeout but definitely Hurley. Good catch. PC used their last with over a minute to go.No, it was our called timeout reset the 10 count

I feel exactly the same way I did after UConn’s win over Seton Hall at Gampel. They won, cool, but it doesn’t feel great. It never should have gotten that closeWe once again showed we can look like the best team in the country and annoyingly we showed we're capable of melting down in chaotic situations. Luckily we righted the ship just in time with some clutch shots, a huge hustle rebound by Newton and clutch ft's by Newton.
We need to learn from this and Hurley has to impress upon them that 30 minutes of focus isn't enough against any of these teams. Can't have these extended mental collapses anymore or we'll get bounced.
That was the key stretch…we gave them something like 7 quick points and thus gave them lifeThis. Not calling a timeout after newton went down was really bad too.
Yeah, I’m not seeing much in personnel changes from now till the end of the season, so why bitch about it?I would like a word with the chuckleheads who still think that we do not need a point guard.
Our plan to have Adamo Sanogo try to handle the ball to close out a win-or-go-home basketball game was a little shaky there.

Our press break needs to be set up/performed better. Lofted passes horizontally from Newton and AJax is too predictable, and neither uses up fakes or dribbles enough. Our OOB plays have been pretty scary for a while now.Yeah, I’m not seeing much in personnel changes from now till the end of the season, so why bitch about it?
Uhm, blow out? They won a blow-out in ugly fashion. Take it.
Fun facts:
Providence had a NET of 53 before losing today.
11 of PC's 21 wins are Quad 4 wins
PC has a losing record against Quads 1 through 3
Does Providence deserve an at-large bid?
How many TOS did AJax have? I feel Ike he was a big part in UConn taking the lead and a big part in giving it away.He needs to have the balls to either take out Andre, or somehow refocus him. He killed us down the stretch, and played poor defensively on Locke.
A month ago they had an opportunity to be a 4-5 seed. Now they’ll probably be 9-10Fun facts:

Thanks for the correction. That’s what I meant.much worse...two free throws in 39:30
he said ugly fashionUhm, blow out?
I was thinking the same thing too. He got fouled but a simple layup would’ve sufficed there, but that one play didn‘t cause a collapse, but UConn’s sloppy play following that sure did sure did.Seems like the game really turned on the missed Newton dunk when he came up gimpy and had to come out.
He had 4, Adama had 5. AJ’s seemed more damaging though. Either way, the two vets of the team can’t be committing that many turnovers. They’ll come out next game better, Adama has a way better matchup. How many TOS did AJax have? I feel Ike he was a big part in UConn taking the lead and a big part in giving it away.
4 TOs to 6 assists. Sanogo had 5 TOs.How many TOS did AJax have? I feel Ike he was a big part in UConn taking the lead and a big part in giving it away.

7 point spread 7 point win. We are far more talented than PC but we let up and they grabbed the opportunity. Credit to them. Great win though. If you don’t like that you don’t like UConn Huskies basketball.
It felt impossible for them to miss that. I hate getting into conspiracies, but how? That was clearly a foul, he took his legs out on the dunk attempt.
I was laying 6........cha ching!! Had it all the way7 point spread 7 point win. We are far more talented than PC but we let up and they grabbed the opportunity. Credit to them. Great win though.
They pass the eye test, they should get a bid.
When u look at most basketball games where one team has a big lead and then another team comes back, it usually starts with an ill advised shot or a sloppy play when the team has their largest lead of the gam. During the first 10-0 run by Pc to cut the lead from 26 to 16 Hurley needs to call the timeout after PC scores 6 straight pts especially in the manner that they did it inYep, he can't wait for the TV timeouts any longer. When things start going bad call the TO immediately, don't hope you can get an extra possession or two before the scheduled break. That's when things spiral.
