There are plenty on here giving PC credit for a good season. I think many are just skeptical of what is going to happen in March given the past 25 years or so. You guys have experience, play well in close games, and I loved the way you fought against Nova. You guys certainly have some of the ingredients needed to start changing peoples perspective. As far as the lifting up/tearing down thing...I got a chuckle out of that one. Never met a PC fan "lifting up" UConn.
 
The unfair part for providence is that 10 years ago based on a combination of their resume and rpi (#11) they would be running for a #1 seed... but now that these so-called "advanced metrics" have hijacked the sport they seem to be only good enough for a #4 seed.

The RPI is a joke. It's one of the worst metrics out there.

Don't consistently play down to your competition and your metrics won't suck.
