All aboard the Polley Trolley!
All aboard the Polley Trolley!
Compare that to Whaley's line tonight...
Like in baseball that's why it's an average. Some games will be above 40% and some below. But I expect he'll be a low 40s from 3 shooter for the year.Polley came in to the game 5-18 from 3 for a 27.7%. He went 6-9 today so he's 11-27 for the season, 40.7%. Just don't expect a steady line from him every game.
It’s not even close Tyler won this game down 21-10 and until the endI know there's a lot of complaining about his overall game but they don't win this game without him. 24 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists off the bench. The kind of stuff you need to win games like this.
Yup there will be plenty of games where Jackson or Akok have 20+ and Tyler has a goose egg. Nice to have to depth and not rely on 2 people to score all your points.Polley came in to the game 5-18 from 3 for a 27.7%. He went 6-9 today so he's 11-27 for the season, 40.7%. Yup. And Jackson could have a great game tomorrow and Polley not so much. We are really deep so not everyone is going to be able to put up the numbers we expect of them each game. Was never worth overreacting to the bad games, we all knew he was capable of getting hot and doing this. He stepped up when we needed it, and did plenty of little things other than his 3's too
Most of what Whaley does great doesn’t show up in the box score.Compare that to Whaley's line tonight...
ok, maybe pump the brakes a little. but I've complained a LOT about him, and I'd love for you to be right.Polley will be the R. Anderson for this team.

He hit every big shot and even got a hard nosed rebound down the stretch and got it back for another dagger. Also got a tough traffic rebound and sank the 2 ft's. He's flat out won several games for us in his UConn career, a lot of solid players have come through here who can't say the same. It’s not even close Tyler won this game down 21-10 and until the end
I love that he didn’t play scared. He absolutely set the tone for this team early in first half with those couple threes before Hawkins took over for a few. And then more or less benched until late ( while Hurley tried to play prevent defense) and simply stepped up again. He hit every big shot and even got a hard nosed rebound down the stretch and got it back for another dagger. He'll give you a lot of nothing statlines but when he's on he's a game changer.
You saw a great game my friend.#ReturnOfDaggerTreyTy
