UConn Starters:

1. Evina Westbrook - 6'0" / G / RS-Sr / 9.4 pts/g - 3.5 rbs/g
2. Christyn Williams - 5'11" / G / Sr. / 15.2 pts/g - 3.5 rbs/g
3. Caroline Ducharme - 6'2" / G / Fr. / 12.6 pt/g - 3.5 rbs/g
4. Dorka Juhasz - 6'5" / F / Gr. / 7.2 pts/g - 6.6 rbs/g
5. Olivia Nelson-Ododa - 6/5" / F / Sr. / 10.2 pts/g - 8.5 rbs/g

Bench Players:

1. Nika Muhl - 5'10" / G / So. / 3.8 pts/g - 3.0 rbs/g
2. Aliyah Edwards - 6'3" / F / So. / 6.3 pts/g - 4.1 rbs/g
3. Azzi Fudd - 5'11" / G / Fr. / 8.6 pts/g - 2.1 rbs/g

1. Jordan Horston vs Evina Westbrook - Horston is a complete player and Westbrook will have her hands full with her...she will need weak-side help from her teammates to limit Horston's offensive abilities and UConn will need to put a body on her to limit her rebounds. No matter what UConn does I think Jordan gets hers - ADVANTAGE Tennessee

2. Jordan Walker vs Christyn Williams
- This will be a good match-up Christyn should have a good game and I expect her to be able to contain Walker - ADVANTAGE UConn

3. Rae Burrell vs Caroline Ducharme
- Rae's size makes her a better match-up for Caroline rather than Christyn. Caroline Should be able to hang in there with Rae and while Rae may do better than Caroline in the rebounding category...I expect Caroline to be able to out score Rae - SLIGHT EDGE to UConn

4. Alexis Dye vs Dorka Juhasz
- Dorka has 5 inches on Alexis and Dorka should be able to take Alexis down low in the paint but this is an interesting match-up because Alexis plays bigger than her size. - ADVANTAGE UConn

5. Tamari Key vs Olivia Nelson-Ododa
- This will be a good match-up...both women average the same in points and rebounds. - EVEN

Bench Play
- Tennessee brings 27 points and 13 rebounds off the bench while UConn brings 18.7 points and 9.2 rebounds - ADVANTAGE Tennessee

Intangibles
- UConn playing at home, Dorka back, Azzi finding her rhythm, Aliyah starting to round out into form; Tennessee coming off three games in which they underperformed...hungry to show that they are still a viable tournament contender and looking for a statement game...ADVANTAGE UCONN

This will be a hard fought game...Tennessee will be relentless on the boards, UConn must shoot well from the outside as it will be difficult scoring on the bigger players from Tennessee in the paint. UConn must also force turnovers (Tennessee is turnover prone but so is UConn)...and UConn must get out in transition and score off their turnovers.

UConn 79 Tennessee 72

Then state that UConn wins not they. The rules are there for a reason, please follow them.
I thought it was obvious but I guess for some people it's not

UConn 69-65 Azzi shoot the light out and Liv shuts down the bigs

Probably the toughest game to predict all year. Both teams can look good at times and then not play well. Despite what various rankings show, IMO the Lady Vols have played a tougher schedule just by them playing in the SEC. UConn at times start off a game shooting so poorly that games are close at the end of the 1st quarter. If they do that against this Lady Vol team they'll be down by double digits at the end of the 1st quarter. Lady Vols will be much tougher to mount a comeback against then Creighton was. I'll go with a UConn win, but I won't be surprised if UConn loses.

UConn 70 Lady Vols 61 Defense wins it for UConn.

UConn 71-66

Hard to believe that this will be UConn's "best" win of the regular season.

I was thinking of changing my prediction with the unfortunate Caroline news but...
I'll stay with my original score.

No Caroline so I’ll change my prediction.
Tenn 69 UConn62
Hope I’m wrong

I would like to revise my projection due to CD being out and Geno's comment that Dorka has taken a step backward and is now working to regain her form.
UConn 67 Tenn 65 (still have to have UConn winning).
