Prognosticators Game 12 (DePaul) Predictions

How will UConn react after the close loss to Arkansas and will Saylor play against DePaul? First on the how will they play, I believe that UConn will come out firing on all cylinders both in the offense and defense. They had some challenges with Arkansas but could have pulled it out at the end but didn't. We also discovered that with four Freshman and Evina the defense was much tighter and the offense wasn't that bad either. Now will Saylor play, I say that she gets some minutes, especially if it is a blowout in the 4th quarter. Due to the many questions and challenges I had in the postings on the Arkansas game predictions I have added a section on rules on the predictions process. Uconn hasn't lost two in a row in 28 years and Mr. Meyers will be the only, or certainly one of the very few to correctly predict these losses if even tongue in cheek. Depaul has upset many really good teams over the years when they are at home, but Uconn should be able to regroup and prevail in this one.

I'm tempted to predict a Depaul win, because I'm so bad at predicting, but I believe UConn will not be happy about the loss against Arkansas and come out strong against Depaul. Depaul will mount a comeback with 3 pt shooting, but UConn holds on to win 81 - 73.

Good point about our post, seeking the ball high, know a double team is a pass to a cutter for a lay-up. The two early steals from Ododa took her out of the game mentally it seemed. She also has to improve her passing, most of which when she was down low put the cutter or corner shooter out of position to gather in a poor pass.

Between TN and Arkansas, there is now a solid blueprint how to beat UConn. Most interested in how and when Geno uses Aubrey and if Geno still keeps Aubrey and ONO out at the foul line shooting longer shots.
