Michigan's length and athleticism made it tough to get good shots off.

Key sequence was when they cut it to 5 and had the ball with a little over 8 minutes to go with momentum on our side and AK turned it over.

I though May should have called a time out right before that, but it didn't cost them. UM scored the next 6 points stretching it back to 11.

We got it down to 4 when AK missed the 3 with 17 seconds left. Oh, so close.

Great effort. Just didn't make enough plays.

I think May just hit a home run with the perfect players and coached them to near perfection, but I certainly wouldn’t use this as a baseline for success looking at the evidence against

I don't think what he did with this team is easily repeatable. Guys like Mara & Lunderberg do not fall off trees. I do think May is a very good talent evaluator.

If he retains Cadeau and McKinney, that is a very good starting back court.

Amazing run. Figured the only way we could win was to get hot from 3, but didn’t happen. Congrats to AK, gave this program everything he had.

Your comment may be true but how’s it worked for Kansas, Kentucky, Carolina, Duke, St John’s, and some others. As a coach, you still would need to get the right guys, not just the best 5* kids.

I bleeping HATE that call when a player throws his body into a defender and then chucks the ball somewhere towards the basket hoping for a 3 point foul call. They gave it to Cadeau. That was not an act of shooting. Stop rewarding that behavior.

That set the tone 1:32 in to start the game.

Everything was against us. Our best players were in immediate foul trouble, we played our C- game without the starters playing together and we still would've gotten it to 1 point with 22 seconds left if AK hit the three.

So proud of this team and everything UConn basketball is all about. Best sports long weekend of my life.
