No more brain space.I encourage everyone to watch Geno's response to the final question. He is as unguarded and revealing as I have ever seen.

Well worth listening to. Loved Christine’s patting Lou on the shoulder and saying “I love you man”.
Well we know who the 1 was, Pheesa. Lol.Tough but such a very rewarding season
This captures it a bit.
'At times, I felt that I just want to coach one player and have the other 10 transfer'
1991 wasn't a NC. It was their first FF and they lost to top seed Virginia, 61-55 in the semis."Incredibly joyous." That's how Coach Geno felt when they won this game. His third most joyous experience after his first national championship in 1991, and after the 1995 championship. This was next in terms of being "incredibly joyous."
An amazing win. One of the best ever in the tournament. And even more special because of, what Coach Geno called "the pain" in Katie Lou, both physical and emotional.

I think he was teary; when the game ended he walked to the middle of the court with his fingers to his eyes, it was beautiful to watch. Best game I’ve watched in person, you could feel the energy the entire game.Geno was very emotional but had a grip on his emotions so tightly that he seemed somber at times. The last question brought some out. I bet he shed a couple tears today
