Ollie seems to love dipping into the pool of 5th-year transfers the past two years, and due to our success with both RJ Evans & Lasan Kromah, I don't see why he wouldn't entertain that idea again. So here is a list of the available 5th year transfers (from here):

Jordan Allen, 6-6, F, RS So., Hofstra (will graduate)
Sooren Derboghosian 6-10, RS Jr., UCLA (will graduate)
Jeylani Dublin, 6-6, F, Jr., Longwood (will graduate)
Alex Gavrilovic, 6-9, F, Jr., Dayton (will graduate)
Kris Gulley, 6-7, SF, Jr., Long Beach State (will graduate)
James Johnson, 6-10, F, Jr., San Diego (will graduate)
Brandan Kearney, 6-5, F, Jr., Arizona State (will graduate)
Jeremiah Kreisberg, 6-10, F, Sr., Yale (will graduate)
Darius Leonard, 6-9, C, Jr., Campbell (will graduate)
Justin Martin, 6-8, F, RS Jr., Xavier (will graduate)
Paris Massey, 6-7, F, RS Jr., UMass Lowell (will graduate)
Griffin McKenzie, 6-9, F, Jr., Denver (will graduate)
Eric McKnight, 6-9, F, Jr., Florida Gulf Coast (will graduate)
Sommy Ogukwe, 6-7, F, Jr., Liberty (will graduate)
Ryan Okwudibonye, 6-8, C, Jr., Sacramento State (will graduate)
K.C. Ross Miller, 6-1, G, Jr., New Mexico State (will graduate)
Mike Samuels, 6-11, C, Jr., Indiana State (will graduate and have 2 years left)
Nick Shepherd, 6-9, F, Jr., Long Beach State (will graduate)
Desmond Simmons, 6-7, SF, RS Jr., Washington (will graduate)
Zech Smith, 6-11, C, Jr., Cal State Bakersfield (will graduate)
Dwight Tarwater, 6-6, F, Sr., Cornell (will graduate)
J.J. Thomas, 6-6, F, Jr., Cal State Northridge (will graduate)
Malik Thomas, 6-7, F, Jr., Boston University (will graduate)

Should be interesting to see if any other names get added to the list and whether or not any of those players end up a Husky next year.

Would love to get Horford for his size or Brian Williams from OK St

What I like about adding a 5th year guy is that if you choose wisely, you can add a mature and produce player who fills a need while still having that ship available for the 2015 class that KO has been recruiting heavily.

Wonder how much better facey can get. A better athete than daniels.

My list begins and ends with Justin Martin.
Did you see him play at all this year? Is he similar to Lasan? Judging by stats at Xavier & GWU and height/weight they seem very similar.

He might be a few pounds lighter than Lasan.

He's a better offensive player than Lasan - better shooter, better rebounder, very good from the free throw line. Not sure he's quite as good defensively and I'm not sure anyone would be as willing as Lasan was to just do whatever the team asked him to do.

Would kill for a lockdown perimeter defender or a 3/4 guy to stretch the floor and rebound.

Williams is an elite athlete. Horford has experience at the highest level and would give us size/bulk/strength that we otherwise don't have.

Yes on Rhett, if Daniels is gone an athletic bouncy 4 who can step out and hit a jumper is a must, and even though its just a highlight video Rhett looks like he fits that mold. Martin looks nice as well but he doesn't seem like a guy that can swing b/w the 3 and 4, assuming Omar gets his mojo back we should be all set on the wing with Omar, Dham, and the ability to go to 3 guard sets with the size of TSam, Purvis, and Cassell Jr.

Rhett as a 1-year DD replacement while we find a long-term solution in the class of 2015? I'd be on board with that if it were necessary; I hope DD stays, however.

Where is Rhett from? Any ties to any of these guys like we had with Lasan last yr?

Bump.

I edited the above list to include only forwards & centers. Really hope that UConn reaches out to J Martin at some point.

Scratch another off the list:

@GoodmanESPN: Florida has landed Michigan transfer Jon Horford, sources told ESPN. Eligible next season. Will help Gators frontcourt depth.
