I find your lack of faith in Kevin Ollie to be quite jarring. There will be no "disasters" on his watch, APR or otherwise. If you let this happen again, you will put on BY probation and we will take remedial action.Sounds like an APR disaster waiting to happen.
He is still an undergrad- he received his release from Southern U, which, I believe, makes him eligible to play right away.If I am not mistaken, the only way he could play right away is if (1) he graduated from the last school. This also means that he would have to be (2) accepted into Graduate School at UConn (purportedly the issue that prevented Justin Martin from being able to transfer from Xavier).
I do not doubt that Mr. Godfrey had academic problems in the past. However, if (1) & (2) are true, it doesn't add up that he would be an academic risk at present.
I just hope he's not a problem with the chemistry of the team. In Ollie we trust.
I've never seen this scenario before for a UConn player, but I assume that means since he already sat out a year, then he can now transfer, even though that year was not at UConn? He is still an undergrad- he received his release from Southern U, which, I believe, makes him eligible to play right away.
