He's done it before this season. On more minutes, I think. It's uncanny.Polley pitched a shutout.
13 minutes, 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists. How does that happen when you are 6'9" and play a third of the game?
That would be truly impressive. He's done it before this season. On more minutes, I think. It's uncanny.
Because it’s ridiculous that someone could be that invisible time and time againWell you don’t make any shots don’ grab the ball when someone misses a shot and don’t pass to a good shooter. But we won so why .........
Yes, so tonight is the high water mark.I was wrong. Closest came against Creighton. Had 0 points, 0 assists and 1 rebound in 17 minutes. Pitched a shutout with 4 fouls against USC but that was in only 4 minutes.
0 fouls, 0 turnovers, 0 blocks as well. Bro just went out there and ran aroundPolley pitched a shutout.

LMFAOOOOOOO THIS IS FUNNY ASF0 fouls, 0 turnovers, 0 blocks as well. Bro just went out there and ran around
Among the biggest enigmas in UConn history.Polley pitched a shutout.

You said it . BE POW one week, no stats for a month after that. Bizarre.Among the biggest enigmas in UConn history.
You would rather play a shorter player who shoots worse and also doesn't rebound or pass well and also turns the ball over all the time?Would rather play B Adam’s at this point.
No, I was actually txting my sister that he doesn't run around much, and definitely not enough to get himself free for uncontested shots. The only explanation/excuse I could come up was linger effect of the ACL tear.0 fouls, 0 turnovers, 0 blocks as well. Bro just went out there and ran around
I'm not going back and forth with the insults, but Polley literally can't do anything besides shoot. Adams is shorter but does everything else better than Polley including defend, rebound, pass and finishing. With Jackson in the fold I'm over the Polley experiment at this point in his career. You would rather play a shorter player who shoots worse and also doesn't rebound or pass well and also turns the ball over all the time?
Don't ever coach, please.
Even when he pitches a 13 Trillion like tonight he is a threat and spaces the floor.
When puzzling is your upside, that is not goodNo, I was actually txting my sister that he doesn't run around much, and definitely not enough to get himself free for uncontested shots. The only explanation/excuse I could come up was linger effect of the ACL tear.
I don't want to post negatively about him, but what I see is on a continuum that goes from puzzling to bothersome.
6’9”.....that makes it way worseI love Polley and accept him for the role that he fills, but he is actually among the worst 6’7+ Rebounding players I can find in history using the player index.
I think Hurley is the right guy and we can win a Natty with him as head coach but...
he definitely needs help on the offensive end. Polley needs to be parked somewhere on the 3 pt line and they need to run some action to free him up. He is running around the 3 pt line making rugby passes. Mindboggling. He needs to be a stationary shooter. It's not hard. Every NBA team has two. Also, our best player should NEVER get an offensive foul for setting a screen! And instead of going down 12-2 every game why don't we run some action for Bouk to get a shot early on? Calhoun would run double low screens on both sides of the floor until Rip got an open shot. Do the same for Bouk.
Agreed. No reason to move him around. Let him float on the 3 pt line and force teams to dedicate a man to cover him. @nelsonmuntz Cole is a player and he's getting better by the game. I cringed when he tried to dribble through the quadrable team, lol, but his decision making has been impressive. I wouldn't have said this two weeks ago but this is a second weekend team. Huskies have been messing people up on D.Polley is a magnet on offense. He draws the defenses attention. For that reason alone he’s valuable
