Tenn has no answer for Wilson. The soft Russell is getting eaten alive.

I'm always anxious when we play a top notch team that has a legitimate chance of beating us. Aren't you? And, I'll take any and every advantage possible baring injury and/or misfortune. Humiliation isn't either of those.

You're UCONN.. you don't need advantages.

Help a brother out- I am stuck on a commuter train so I can't see what the heck is happening here- Tenn is winning? How?

So, with the game almost at half-time
Neither team runs an offense
SC has its two bigs on the bench with fouls and UTenn has finally (almost) figured out how to take advantage.
But they did give Russell a breather at the moment that she could have dominated.
With the bigs out of the SC offense, their offense is really helter-skelter.
UTenn by 3 (maybe not enough)

Thank you, I hurtin real bad not seeing this...got it recorded but need my fix NOW!

i criticize TN alot but they are playing great on both ends of the floor. DD is playing TOP NOTCH defense. she basically put wilson, coates, and davis on the bench by taking charges and go right at them in the paint.

Would it be taboo for me to root for the Lady Vols? I promise I won't wear orange.

Slide over Java, I'll join you. Tenn is up by 3 at the half. The only other time I've rooted for them is when they played ND.

and i wouldn't say Mercedes is playing "soft"at all. her points have all been in the paint. wilson's points have been outside jumpers b/c TN is sagging way off of her.

Hello Good Tennessee/DeShields, you're up by 3 at the half! Told you this would be entertaining. I'm staying with my prediction of a SC win, with their two bigs coming back into the game now.

That Technical on Wilson hurts bad. Not necessarily sure I really agree with it - I've seen players do way worse without getting the T called - but what I think is irrelevant. Definitely glad I'm not a Ref.

sC showing slightly better offense this half but stil Lacking composure

Tn 46-45

true, but Dawn needs to turn to her and get her pumped. there's a need to take responsibility here and play better as a response.

just loving how Tenn has improved....the more, the merrier....

Tennessee is standing around on offense. Hasn't scored in the last 6 minutes.

I'm trying to recall, in over 20 years of watching the Huskies, if I have ever seen a UConn player get T'd up for demonstrative behavior.

I'm really not sure what to make of this game. On one hand Tennessee seems to want it but they are in a scoring drought. On the other hand South Carolina should be use to playing without Wilson but they seem like they aren't at times.

The vaunted SEC cannot sustain offense.
TENN 20 19 13 52
SC 26 10 17 53

Not really sure Wilson being out has created much of a difference...perhaps because Diamond has disappeared again...

53 - 52 SC at the end of the 3rd.

Doris did not mince her words about SC's poor finish to the quarter: "What a bad possession to end the quarter. That was awful."

Looks like this one is gonna go back to the old SEC adage... First team to 60 points wins.... Mostly likely gonna be South Carolina.
