The mistake some on this board are making us believing we have a bunch of mich st/Auburn type opponents coming up. I believe those 2 teams are really good. And outside of Nova, Hall(Maybe), Xavier(maybe), and the bonnies, I don’t see us playing a team of their caliberLet's be honest, other than early season kinks around some sloppy play, UConn. MSU, and Auburn looked like def top 15-20 teams. I was impressed all around. UConn won't have closing out game problems by mid season. Sweet 16 caliber each of them.
Ditto.22 in the AP poll. We could jump Auburn and Michigan, maybe Seton Hall. I'm going with 20.
I don't think Michigan State is all that good. Not a top 25 team IMO, more in that 35-45 range. That's a game we never should've lost, a lot had to go wrong for UConn to lose that one. Did you see what vcu did to us. St. John’s can play like that. So can West Virginia. The mistake some on this board are making us believing we have a bunch of mich st/Auburn type opponents coming up. We won. Also those teams won’t be seeing us while playing 3 games in 48hrsDid you see what vcu did to us. St. John’s can play like that. So can West Virginia.
I believe Mich St would finish 3rd or 4th in the big East this seasonI don't think Michigan State is all that good. Not a top 25 team IMO, more in that 35-45 range. That's a game we never should've lost, a lot had to go wrong for UConn to lose that one. Auburn is really good.
Do not disagree, but if they run into a team with two quick guards they get blown out by 100 because they have zero offensive sets and if they get beat off the bounce it is over.VCU will be in the tournament this year IMO
yes I did. They lost to us.Did you see what vcu did to us. St. John’s can play like that. So can West Virginia.
I must have missed the game where we scored under 60…24/25, would be shocked if we move up after going to overtime twice and losing a game scoring under 60 points. We didn't look impressive in Atlantis, even if the double OT game was fun to watch. Going 2-1 might save us a spot though, considering other teams lost too.
Not so sure about that one. They already have 4 losses. I think you need about 22-23 wins in the A-10 to get an at-large bid. That’s going to be tough for them.VCU will be in the tournament this year IMO

Simply referencing the manner in which they ball pressure. They made us real uncomfortable last year in a similar manner that vcu did.Jesus St. John’s just beat NJIT in overtime after eking out a win over St. Francis. What’s going on on this board?!
Except they’re not really even close to VCU, at least not this year. VCU and MSU have 2 of the top 4(!!!) defenses in CBB according to kenpom. WVU is ranked in the 60s the last time I checked, and St. johns in the 70s. Auburn was in the 30s..Ya know, the same team we just scored 115 points on.Simply referencing the manner in which they ball pressure.
