Was listening to a podcast which stated that SMU has played in temps this season averaging 70+ degrees, yet tomorrow they'll play at Penn State where the temp will be in the 30s. Oh yeah, go Penn State! And I hope ND loses tonight.

Penn State up 28-0 at halftime versus SMU, I love it. Maybe SMU can call up their boosters to see if they pay for a few touchdowns.;)

Anyone thinking Clemson gonna get smoked next game?
It can be hard to say in these games. I think Clemson is a little more stout defensively than the other teams that got run out, and I am not totally sure about Texas and how good they really are. I also think Clemson got a huge schedule break in their league this year and may not have even made it to their conference championship had it been different. I could see Clemson hanging around for a bit and getting worn out as it goes on.

I don't hate Texas the way I hate the ACC, so if Texas can stomp on Clemson and remove the ACC from the CFP today, I would be very happy.

Horns are rolling as we speak. If Clemson can't stop the run, this can get ugly in a hurry. ACC is getting face stomped today, and it is a good day.

Actually want Texas to lose otherwise the SEC cronies will never shut up about them deserving more teams in the field. Already hearing it regarding SMU.

I think these games are going to show what I've always thought: that SEC teams are going to really struggle in the cold.

At the very least, the new playoff system forces a couple of them to play in the cold for once...

But we’ve also seen how overrated Indiana and SMU were. It’ll be interesting to see what changes are made going forward

While I like the conf champs getting a first round bye, I wouldn’t mind reseeding after round 1

12 ASU v 1 Oregon at Rose
5 ND v 4 PennSt at Peach
6 Ohiost v 3 Texas at Fiesta
9 Boise v 2 Georgia at Sugar

Did you expect anything different considering for the most part the semi final games since they 4 team playoffs started have been blowouts?
I think that will ease over time as players realize they don’t have to go to bama/clem/ga to be in the playoff now that 12 teams make it.
Also NIL.

It's good to be the home team in these playoffs for sure. But Ohio State isn't going to be a pushover in the Rose Bowl against Oregon. Tonight was a beatdown.

I do wonder how ticket distribution works for the next round. The 4 bye teams don't get a home game but do they get home team considerations or anything at all aside from the bye?
