Alle: 4 Maine / 5 WMU / 12 MA / 14 PnSt

Can we get a 1 seed if we win at Vermont and then go 4-0 in the HE tournament?

4-0 would be impossible
Isn't the quarterfinal best of 3? That would mean sweeping the QF and then winning the semifinal and final.

Being a #1 seed and having to play Penn State in Allentown is diabolical.

Penn State is a legit national title contender. The only reason they are so low is due to Sergeev missing a bunch of games with an injury.

UConn up to 7th, which is not good news.

That would likely send them to Toledo against 3-seed OhioSt and 1-seed MichSt ... basically two road games.

Need to win the HE tournament.

So few games this time of year nothing much will shift. Lowell had it's chances this year but dropped a few key games. This weekend against the kittens, vermont,... stonehill.... big difference

As for you guys. Stop watching the seeding. You'll play where you'll play. Even if maine craps the bed Saturday at home (please, please, please, please) you'll still need to likely win all 3 to get that 1 seed

Seems like if UConn takes care of business on Friday we are out of that 8 seed in Manchester. I think that result is what we're looking for.

Is that really worse than facing OhioSt and MichSt in Toledo?

Come Austin Powers GIF

-> Let’s start with the known. Twelve teams have clinched their NCAA bids:
  • Boston College
  • Michigan State
  • Maine
  • Minnesota
  • Western Michigan
  • Boston University
  • Connecticut
  • Providence
  • Ohio State
  • Denver
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota State*
* The CCHA champion will be either Minnesota State or St. Thomas, but St. Thomas isn’t eligible for the tournament. Thus, Minnesota State has clinched the CCHA autobid <-
