And Nika wasn't named to the All Freshmen team? Travesty!

Congrats to all the ladies acknowledged on the lists, and congrats to Geno COY. I woudln't have minded seeing the Seton Hall or Villanova coach win COY - SHU was picked 6th, Nova picked 7th preseason, and they finished 3rd and 5th respectively.

SJU and Creighton, on the other hand, had disappointing seasons compared to pre-season expectations...

A nice little cluster of awards. A nice start for our freshman. Nika has to add some offense to her repetoire and she'll be raking in awards too. Starting on UConn's team is about as fine as it gets for a freshman. Rare as ice cubes in the Mohave.

Lots and lots of guards on the first team. I would have had Ono there, maybe instead of one of the 3 seton halls players

Poor Nika. Maybe this will motivate her even more. I predicted before the season started she would be a starter by year end. Super-talented with a strong motor.

IMO it is very disappointing (although completely justified) for ONO to only be named 2nd team and "Co-Defensive" POY for the BE in this her junior season.

Olivia should’ve been on First Team. No team in the Big East was able to stop her.
Olivia stopped herself mostly and the Providence front line would disagree with you.

No argument from me W/ the 3 SH players on 1st team all Big East; Correa and Hunter have the numbers and are most deserving. Park-Lane, beside getting the Best Name award is most impressive. She’s like 5’3” and just destroys defenders. Olivia just didn’t show up enough. Imagine if Park-Lane was 6’5”!

Well I would have put Ono instead of Desiree Elmore of SH, as Ono was a superior defensive player and had similar offensive output. But I understand many here do not share my respect for her play.
