I second all the A-Mens!! I also second those that hope this break in the ice and the damn breaks (damn recruiting!).Paige Bueckers, top-ranked 2020 recruit, picks UConn
Hopefully this is the 1st and they'll be a couple more for 2020..
Azzi can play the 1, 2, or 3. Paige is more the 1 or 2.Azzi Fudd is Class 2021, they'll be room for both. Both have the ability to play either guard position.
This is 2019 not 2020--a long time between now and show up time. We've had disappointments before. Let us not celebrate to loudly just yet.Congrats to you guys. So much for the supposed decline of Geno's recruiting pull. And I guess I called that she wouldn't end up at Stanford, if only by a few hours:
Azzi can play the 1, 2, or 3. Paige is more the 1 or 2.
You must have frightened her. A venial sin wouldn't have meant damnation but mortal, well?? Poor kid. Can you please frighten 3 or 4 more?

Y'all are having a good couple of days, eh?
"I know there's pressure when you have UConn across your chest, but I love pressure. I love when the rival fans hate you -- that makes the game more fun and entertaining.
I'll be interested to see where Fudd picks - she's being recruited very strongly by Stanford as well, and her namesake is Stanford player Jennifer Azzi, so there's definitely a family history connected to the Cardinal. But with Bueckers now committed to the Huskies, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Fudd follows.Azzi can play the 1, 2, or 3. Paige is more the 1 or 2.
More from the Star Tribune article: Hopkins top recruit Paige Bueckers headed to UConn
Hopkins coach Brian Cosgriff said Auriemma was the difference-maker in the recruiting process. He showed up countless times at Hopkins High School and in the school's Linbergh Center gymnasium.
"It makes a difference when he's showing up for games and other schools are sending their assistant coaches," Cosgriff said.

You should be happy - this increases the likelihood that Hailey Van Lith stays in the NWThe doom and gloomers are going to have to work overtime to find something to be gloomy about.

"I know there's pressure when you have UConn across your chest, but I love pressure. I love when the rival fans hate you -- that makes the game more fun and entertaining.
"UConn plays with passion. They play the game the right way. They play team basketball. They play hard. That appeals to me because I'm a team-first player."
In the end, Bueckers said her choice came down to five words: "When you know," she said, "you know."
