In Semi-final # 1, Sopron beat Salamanca 74/69

Katie Lou = 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal in 19min54
Gabby = 13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals in 32min13
Stefanie = 4 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal in 17 min 36

EuroLeague semi-final # 2, Fenerbahce came from ten points behind late in Q3 to win 83/74

Bria = 10 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals in 26 min 42
Kiah = 3 min 57

I cant see Sopron beating Fenerbahce.

I think Avenida will try hard in the 3rd place game, Praha might not be as motivated after blowing a big lead.

We shall see.

As a Liberty fan, I am worried about Stephanie Dolson. Not sure what her situation was this off season but she did not look to be in WNBA shape and was beaten again and again on the defensive end. :oops:

Was hoping Avenida would win for obvious reasons (see my avatar) but at least it seems Kah played well. Still think Final 4 is a good showing given Avenida's overall talent level.

I think she was housesitting for the Vanderquigs before joining Sopron.

Even an in shape Dolson gets beat fairly frequently on D. I assume the Liberty signed her for her offensive skills with the idea that Howard can cover for her a bit on D.

The King (LeBron, that is) was watching (at least) one of these games:

IMHO Amanda ZB was the player of the game, let's see what the championship game will deliver

Fenerbahce is playing home, for me it is 55% Fenerbahce 45% Sopron

Sopron will depend a lot of Gabby Williams' play

what is sure is 2 former Huskies will add the Euro League to their achievements, either Gabby/Stef or Bria/Kiah

Gabby seems to be the only one who could be named MVP if her team wins
Bria has found her game again but she's coming off the bench

Gabby Williams is phenomenal. Love to see her play.

Gabby Williams is the 5th former Husky to be named MVP

Nykesha Sales with Gambrinus Brno in 2006
Diana Taurasi in 2009, 2010 (Sparta&K) + 2016 (Ekat)
Asjha Jones in 2012 (Rivas Ecopolis SPAIN, though not winning)
Breanna Stewart, last year with Ekat
Thx for all your reports....appreciated.

There is plenty of coverage about WNBA players playing all year long to maximize earnings. There are other players who do it as well for significantly less money that are worth mentioning too.

After Evelyn Adebayo finished her season in Poland, she headed to Australia to play in NBL1, which operates during the offseason of their highest level league. She made her debut with the Kilsyth Cobras earlier:

I have no idea what kind of graduate studies that Digna Strautmane started at Georgia Tech, but I guess that she immediately had her agent look for any professional opportunities because her signing with the Ringwood Hawks, the other team in the game, was announced pretty soon after her season was over and she made her way there a few weeks ago.

I cannot remember if the person who asked Mo a question about Israeli league scheduling is on here, but I believe that the reason that there is a full week between games is Passover-related. Crystal Dangerfield plays for the championship on Monday before jetting off to training camp.

Ramla & Crystal Dangerfield have tied Ashdod 2-2 in Israel finals, last game sunday
Sopron & Gabby + Stef are leading 2-0 in hungarian finals, next (last?) game on saturday

Playoffs are about to begin in Spain, Lou (Avenida) and in Turkey, Bria & Kiah (Fenerbahce), Tiffany Hayes (Mersin)

KML and her team of La Roche Vendee should qualify for play-offs in France that are set to be played in May

Interesting. A very reliable WBB tweeter retweeted this, and how it may affect her in the WNBA for 2023
