NC State, after a 9-day layoff for Final Exams, is back in action today, hosting the Elon Phoenix. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network at Noon EST. The last time we saw the Wolfpack Women, they beat Maryland.

Noteworthy that 6'5 center Elissa Cunane's first shot of the game was blocked!

NC State leads the rebounding battle, 21-17. The Wolfpack committed 8 turnovers...with Elon turning the ball over 12 times.

No..he wasn't, and rightly so. It was apparent the team was sort of sleepwalking until the middle of the 2nd quarter.

I cannot believe that NCST. had any issue with an undersized, can't shoot team with an offense that looks as basic as any I've seen, like Elon. All of NCST's weakness were exposed. They're slow up front, slow at guard, they're not an athletic team, too dependent on the 3 and not a particularly good shooting team either. They're completely lost without Kanane, and she doesn't have much beyond 10 feet. What they have is resolve and a good coach.

If you watched the game...you wouldn't believe all the missed easy shots. Like there was an invisible hand making shots clank off the rim. Clank...clank...clank.
