If you watched the game...you wouldn't believe all the missed easy shots. Like there was an invisible hand making shots clank off the rim. Clank...clank...clank.

I watched the game. Everyone knew Elon couldn't shoot when they hit the floor. It was no big secret. The secret was how lost NCST is when their 3's won't drop, and how they have no plan B. I thought Moore was better than that.

Final: NC State holds off Elon, 62-49, in perhaps their ugliest game of the year.

Elissa Cunane with an outstanding game...28 points and 16 rebounds, and this after sitting on the bench for most of the 2nd quarter. Kayla Jones (12) and Ace Konig also reached double-figures for the Wolfpack Women.

Brie Perpignon led Elon with 12 points, the only member of the Phoenix to reach double-figures. Jada Graves grabbed 9 boards for Elon.

For the game, both NC State and Elon shot 36.2% from the floor. NC State was 5 of 26 from THREE...Elon was 5 of 19. From the charity stripe, NC State was 15 of 30...Elon was 10 of 18.

NC State outrebounded Elon 45-35. Elon turned the ball over 20 times...with 14 turnovers for NC State.

Elon had 5 blocked shots on NC State...while the Wolfpack Women recorded 4. NC State led in points in the paint, 32-16.

Next up for NC State: Chattanooga comes to town for the final non-conference game of the season Thursday.

FSU is undefeated but they have looked very meh in every game except the A&M game.
