The responses have been awesome! UConn Nations reach is definitely coast to coast & beyond. Thank you for indulging me and my thread. Hey, if anyone's thinking of buying or selling, in any state, shoot me a private Yard message if you need a realtor. I work with a National Referral company that can help customers in all 50 states! I've already been contacted by a few posters with plans for Spring/Summer moves. Any state/any property. Thanks!
If you can sell underwater houses for what I still owe, call me. ;^)

Don't sweat it.

I'm going to make him give a kidney to the other dude as penance for this.

There's a nice property in Piscataway that will soon be on the market, if you want to get out front of that one.

Weedsport NY 25 years - outside Syracuse...god have I loved mostly torturing these "fans"

A LOYAL UConn fan since 1959 through thick and thin WATR radio...anybody remember Hugh Greer and Fred Shabel?

I'm surprised they don't draw and quarter you. UConn has repeatedly ripped the heart out of that program.

Haha I am surprised too. They are very bitter at the superior huskies (in basketball anyway). They usually get over it by saying something like "well, we are better at football" haha. Also, you can be absolutely sure I will be at the Uconn vs UW game here in Seattle next season! So pumped to watch my favorite team play in action. Been since 09-10 when I went to the Uconn vs. Gonzaga game for Battle In Seattle.
I was one of the only people wearing a Uconn jersey in the arena. However, I am nervous about next season as UW is right downtown and if I wear anything Uconn in the arena I am afraid I might be in for a very long night. I might have to go as an "under cover" Uconn fan wearing UW gear...I mean it's whats inside that counts right?

No, you obviously must wear UConn gear and cheer over the rest of the crowd. This is one of those defining moments in life where you stand up for what's good and pure and right, or you wear UW gear and watch your privates shrivel up and fall off.

Small world. Best wishes for a safe career.

My family is in the Overland Park/Johnson County area. Very nice place to grow up, at least when I was there (the suburbs there have spread south and west like a virulent weed or something...pretty incredible. On a side note, Beakumhawks also lives there.

My uncle probably built a few thousand of those houses. Spreads south and west at an amazing rate. Corporate Woods used to be in the boonies. New Englanders couldn't really conceive of it.

I don't know, their guacamole bacon burger isn't so bad.
I like In-n-out and Carl's Jr. Carl's has the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich which is outstanding. But best of all is Rubio's Fish Tacos.

Supposed to have lunch with a friend at Bar of America today but not sure if im going to be able to make it.

nice, I will be in Reno tonight for soccer practice.

He must be doing well (or did well). Thousands of big, very nice houses on postage stamp sized yards. I bet the Kansas City metropolitan area would fill up most of Connecticut (not that that would be good thing). I liked it better when it was like when I grew up. Living a little south of Ranch Mart area (95th and Mission Road), the civilized world stopped before I 435 for the most part. It was fun to explore the woods/undeveloped areas.

He did. Big house in Leawood on Hallbrook CC. Cousin Ken has his own home building business now. I've watched the changes since we moved in 1970. When looking at houses in MA, I rejected anything that was on a small lot or didn't have mature trees. In CT I had the woods in my backyard, and wanted the same for my daughter.

That reminds me that it's been a while since I've been to Incontro. Not a bad spot for a beer or two, just don't go for a monday night Pats game as they close the second floor before the game ends.
