People act like he's doing UCONN a favor. Randy Edsall didn't have jobs falling off of trees for him. A few maybe, but a job like UCONN is about where Edsall should be at. Minimal comparative pressure (vs SEC, B1g etc) with good upside.

Also lets him bring his son in and over time grow his responsibility. Plus he can potentially go out like Calhoun (not in success obviously) but in putting his replacement in place.

Yeah...I heard a reporter sign off "from Bogota" so it stuck. Still, shovels will be shipped to Bogota.
