Need more time to come up with my list; but, I just wanted to show my appreciation for listing Once Upon a Time in America.

Not sure if it’ll end up making my list, but the full version of this movie is a *gosh darn* masterpiece.

The edit that ended up being released is one of the biggest travesties in Hollywood history.

Not many people seem to know about it or appreciate how great it is. Too many have watched it on TV and it's a mess how Hollywood cut it up, as you point out.

I will admit I have never heard of it. I looked at the trailer online and its got a great cast. I see the full version is on Netflix. I will have to check it out.

You forgot Gigli.

Or maybe you're one of the six people who liked it.

I'd expect that with the age spread here. There are a lot of movies mentioned here that I would've included 20 or even 10 years ago, like Airplane!, Animal House, and even Blazing Saddles, but they do very little for me today. And good comedies that appeal to my sense of humor have been very rare this century.

I like the premise but I think that if I was asked this question again, I would have about half the same answers. I am probably forgetting some of my favorites and being subjected to recency bias.

Midnight Run really was a classic. I forgot that one but Grodin and De Niro had great chemistry together. I had the pleasure of meeting Grodin in a one on one setting and got to talk with him for a couple hours. He was nothing but pleasurable and willing to discuss all his movies.
That's cool. Grodin always struck my as a really interesting guy.
