OT: Sexiest Song

But the sexiest song of all time is not rock, but rather opera: this is multiply orgasmic (well, it is 18 minutes long!) :-)

Yup, for sure. But I had a very good friend who turned me on to the wonders of Ravel, to my continuing gratitude.
The opening of "Rhapsodie Espagnole" is more lush and sensual.

I've actually come to love the mono version by Désiré-Émile Inghelbrecht on Ducretet-Thompson. Sensual, lush, flowing, a fine attention to detail, and feeling that the orchestra is just playing freely without an iron fist. Such as say (oh boy) Szell. Szell's is so precise, with such rapidly detailed playing it's at times breathtaking. Yet also mechanical (to me). Listening to Stokowski's odd, well thought out version is a treat as well.

Some different approaches to this. Some are about the nature or content of the song itself. I've mostly just been going w/ how the singer's voice sounds. Another one I thought of (weird video, don't let that ruin it for you).

This is a bit silly or goofy, but works for me as sexy. Got a bit of a redhead theme going.
