The season ticket holders here just told me they have never heard the PA announcer warn the crowd about good behavior in the other games. BTW I see Jeff Goodman

I saw fear in Cooley's eyes when he entered the arena.

Hats off to Friars fans. The energy there seems electric. Think I just heard a "I hate Cooley" chant. Correction: I believe that i is a "fuq Ed Cooley!" chant.

Just watching from TV, it feels like the roof is gonna come off that place. Powder keg ready to blow.
 
Two things. 6 million a year. He kept Providence relevant for a long time. Very unusual for a coach to go to a conference rival. I don’t hate him for that.

OK. Back to reality. This was a fun distraction, but it’s just another college basketball game. We only really care about UConn basketball. Go Huskies!

Definitely can hear it! The announcers are ignoring it.

They just showed a pre-taped interview where Cooley takes credit for the atmosphere at the amp saying he created it and described the anticipated Friar fan reaction to him returning as being "a joke."

Ey are waiting to explode with every PC shot, but the Friars are missing, they are too jacked with adrenaline, I can clearly see it. BTW We isn't going to get any 50-50 calls that he has over the years here at the AMP
 
I expected cans being hurled at Cooley, stoppages in play, and multiple fans being removed from the arena. This is lame.
 
Seems like it's reasonably loud in there, but nothing that we don't see in many Big East arenas. I've heard the fuq Dan Hurley chant quite a few times, and he didn't even leave them.
 
Cooley seems to be the arrogant one. Can’t wait to see post game handshakes
