It was outrageous that he blamed his team's performance on the officiating when his team got to the free throw line twice as much as S.Carolina and players like the Harrison twins were repeatedly rewarded for throwing their bodies into defenders.
I very much hope that he gets frustrated and leaves college basketball, but not very likely at this point.

The Harrison twins just put their heads down repeatedly and go the the basket……#2 finally made a couple of jumpers in the game late to give them a chance but in all reality they are highly overrated! Nice players don;t get me wrong, but not very versatile……..NBA? Nah

Nice childish rendition of Forde reactions. Some folks really hate Louisville. I think the reason "why" is not in Pitino's sexual appetite, nor the slam on the best AD in the nation I read here. I think it's because they compete and do so in uncomfortable ways.

Pretty soon, if we get lucky, a basketball conversation could break out.

The problem people here have is in fact that UL competes. In our view its annoying because UL will compete in controversial ways that we are not allowed to. Athletics are worthy of compromising values at UL and at UConn they are not. I'm not taking a shot at UL because I wish that UConn would loosen up on some of these issues.

We couldn't hire Bobby Petrino, Rick Pitino would have been fired had he been our coach and we have very strict admission standards for athletes making getting football players much harder. Further, we refuse to cook the books so our athletic department looks as good as possible. UConn is very successful athletically and academically but the opportunity to continue our rise to the very top was compromised by our unwillingness to play the game the way we needed to. It is very frustrating. It's probably right, but still frustrating.

You have to realize that we UConn supporters have enough capacity to hate both the squid and a lackey reporter. Most of us guys are down on Dukie V for the same reason. And the Cuse cadre as well. Recognize the salient points in this thread. Not any love for the squid. Not any love for Forde. Ville is not the primary focus of animosity in this thread by a long shot.
