Hocus Pocus by Focus.
Doing various searches, it seems a consensus pick is Come On Eilleen by the Dexy's Midnight Runners.
Great power pop band with five excellent albums.....but this is their one radio tune....plus the video's got Rachel Hunter in it.
I liked some of their other songs but this is the only one I can remember being on the radio.
In the Summertime by Mungo Jerry.
The best song of the bunch
If you live in and around Boston in '85 you heard this, a lot.
I realize this does not qualify as a Rick roll, since there is nothing surreptitious about it.
By the way, the only time I have ever been successfully Rick rolled was here on the Boneyard, by @tcf15 in March of 2014. In my defense, I will click on any link he posts.
A link to the thread in which @tcf15 Rick rolled me, and probably most of the Boneyard:
Drummonds ex girl Jeanette McCurdy rips drummond. Laughs at relationship
Go ahead, click on that link, I dare you.
(Is this another attempt to Rick roll the Boneyard? Or, perhaps it’s an anti-Rickroll, in which you expect to be duped but the link is real.)
The Star Spangled Banner- Francis Scott Key
Never heard anything else by him.
Locomotion by Little Eva. The definition of a one hit wonder, even back in the early 60s.
I've always loved "In the Summertime," as well as Shaggy's cover of it. And just last week I heard for the first time Elton John's cover it, which comes from an album of him covering other songs that also includes "Spirit in the Sky."
JMO, I always had Undercover Angel slotted behind Ariel.
