Patrick Ewing, and the Knicks of the early-mid 90's generally. (I extend a big to the guy above who said Reggie Miller, btw.)

I grew up in the lower middle of New York state where they don't care about St. John's to the south and Syracuse to the northwest.

Marist was the local school and Siena was the evil empire.

When I was really young and Marist was transitioning to DI from DII, they had a 6'5" shooting guard named Steve Smith.

Rik Smits is who Marist is remembered for, but Smith was to Marist what Chris Smith was to UConn.

Now - KD, Chris Paul, Blake, Steph, Mike Conley

Then - T-Mac, Iverson, C-Webb, Barkley, Antoine Walker, Paul Pierce, D-Wade, pretty much anybody on those '00's Pistons teams

In the driveway I was Jo Jo White and Earl the Pearl for his ball handling in the NBA when younger.

When I began watching college hoops I loved Austin Carr's game as well as a couple other bigs in Artis Gilmore and Jim McDaniel and also Rick Mount.
