Marist was the local school and Siena was the evil empire. When I was really young and Marist was transitioning to DI from DII, they had a 6'5" shooting guard named Steve Smith. Rik Smits is who Marist is remembered for, but Smith was to Marist what Chris Smith was to UConn.
