Similar story. My 40 year-old wife was diagnosed with colon cancer on 1/26. She's scheduled for surgery this Saturday 2/23 at Sloan Kettering. We'll be praying for the best possible outcome for your wife.
The folks at MSKCC are outstanding. My wife who has stage 4 lung cancer just had stereotactic readiosurgery on 2/14. Keep the faith.

My family will keep you and your family in our prayers!!!

Cancer just flat out sucks monkey nuts.

Fleud, JCSuperstar, ConnEd, drkrenicki...you all hang in and my best wishes to your wives.

Good news: going to see Charlotte - Detroit Feb 20th. Christmas gift.
Bad news: wife diagnosed with cancer day before Ville game. Surgery scheduled Feb 22.

Cancer found on polyp. Our hope is this is the full extent of her problem. It will most likely be two weeks post surgery to determine full extent. We'd be grateful for anyone wishing to send prayers or good wishes for a successful surgery and excellent prognosis.

Thanks.
Fleudslipcon.

So far, our experience with MSKCC is also very good. Our local doctors have been a real mixed bag. We won't have the stage until after surgery, but my wife has been as positive as she can. I've done everything I can to keep her that way and to take everything I can off of her plate.

We'll be praying for your wife as well dkrenicki. Stay strong. Thanks to all for the kind words, prayers, and positive thoughts.
