Which is better than never getting it right. See Fox News. Ok, that is my one and only political post in my many, many, many years on the boneyard.

I'm with Fishy and I think he'll give you a pass... I can't see how criticizing a fair and balanced news organization can be considered political.

Look like regular kids, which doesn't truly surprise me.
They certainly could be home-grown kids, which unfortunately doesn't exclude that they are working for militant islamic terrorists. however,Something about suspect #1's walk made me think that he could be middle-eastern, although something about the facial close up appeared Filipino (of course Abu Sayyaf is a major Al Qaeda player there).
Suspect #2 could be Eastern European or Georgian/Azerbaijan.

Anyone else think that Suspect 1 was wearing a UCONN 'C' hat??? I was glad when it turned out to be a B. Also, my second thought was that Suspect 2 in the white hat looks Iranian.

There was an interesting post on a running forum that I read that shows what looks like the white-cap suspect running away without his backpack - it's a better photo of him. He's on the left side of the frame, just behind the gentleman in the MIT shirt.

Wow. Definitely a much clearer shot. I wonder why that one wasn't put out by the FBI?

That has much better clarity...i wonder if the number 3 has any significance. He does look more Persian in that picture.

Imagine if it was initiated by Iran and not Al Qaeda? Supposedly, and Iran has threatened, that they have sleeper cells in the US, that they would activate if they ever went to war with the US. Another thing is all of the postings where people said the bombers were wearing Navy Seal logo hats to try to say Americans did the bombing. Amazing. By the way, the guy that's in the hospital that was a person of interest originally, is being deported back to Saudi Arabia for terror ties.

Praying that tonight's events come to a close soon with no more harm to innocents.

I have to work at 8AM... I've been glued to twitter, reddit and the Watertown police scanner for the past 2 hours. The world of media changed tonight. Obviously, it's been shifting for years, but this will be an event (the whole Boston bombing string of events) that acts as a milestone for when social media truly passed traditional TV media in terms of importance and relevance.

Couldn't agree more. CNN is hours behind.

Apparently the suspect who was killed had explosives strapped to his chest

Been watching for a couple of hours and yes mainstream media is behind the Internet, which has been the case for many years now, who cares? This is insane, my buddy lives in Watertown says he was woken up to explosions and helicopters. I've seen a lot of crazy , this seems pretty duckingunique in terms of terrorist behavior.
