Wow. Definitely a much clearer shot. I wonder why that one wasn't put out by the FBI?

That has much better clarity...i wonder if the number 3 has any significance. He does look more Persian in that picture.

Imagine if it was initiated by Iran and not Al Qaeda? Supposedly, and Iran has threatened, that they have sleeper cells in the US, that they would activate if they ever went to war with the US. Another thing is all of the postings where people said the bombers were wearing Navy Seal logo hats to try to say Americans did the bombing. Amazing. By the way, the guy that's in the hospital that was a person of interest originally, is being deported back to Saudi Arabia for terror ties.

Rumor is the guy in the white hat is the missing Brown student.
 
The 2nd suspect who has been caught is Mike Mulugeta. The one still on the loose is missing brown student, sunil tripathi

I have to work at 8AM... I've been glued to twitter, reddit and the Watertown police scanner for the past 2 hours. The world of media changed tonight. Obviously, it's been shifting for years, but this will be an event (the whole Boston bombing string of events) that acts as a milestone for when social media truly passed traditional TV media in terms of importance and relevance.

Same here. Got work in 6 hours but too interested to sleep.

Apparently the suspect who was killed had explosives strapped to his chest
 
Been watching for a couple of hours and yes mainstream media is behind the Internet, which has been the case for many years now, who cares? This is insane, my buddy lives in Watertown says he was woken up to explosions and helicopters. I've seen a lot of crazy , this seems pretty duckingunique in terms of terrorist behavior.

The officer who first engaged them at MIT was shot to death, RIP. Unbelievable wave of events, sounds like they gunned him down near MIT, carjacked someone in Cambridge at some point and were throwing explosive devices at officers on the road, got into a huge shootout where one of them was eventually killed and the second bomber hopped into a car and made it through a police brigade and is still on the loose in Watertown. This second SOB will be caught soon, can't imagine he will escape the thousands of law enforcement in the area.

Their names are known - Sunil Tripathi and Mike Mulugeta.

Sorry to disappoint, but neither appears to be Muslim. Sunil is an Indian/Hindi name, and I have no clue what the other dude is. Who knows at this point though.

It appears the Sunil Tripathi association was premature. NBC and other media outlets are all over it. One bad thing about twitter is bad/false info can get proliferated like wildfire.

Thank you for being such an @zz but one of them happens to be half European descent.

The half Indian/half European man's family is getting hate messages. How come no one cares about the factory explosion in Texas?
