"UConn fans do not just attend games. They toil away online writing for a sports blog called The Boneyard. There, you can get stats, links to all the news stories about UConn women’s basketball (and men’s basketball and football) games, detailed analysis of a past game or predictions about an upcoming game."

Toilers are we.

They greatly understate what we bring to the table! We also offer obnoxious pessimism, irrational optimism, general idiocy, personal insults, and the occasional sterling witticism.

I feel like this person just discovered the internet.

That blurb does nothing to attract noobs. Kinda makes us look boring.

Are we, in fact, the "nattering noobs of negativism"? No, actually, I think that was "nabobs". As far as attracting "noobs" dove, have you forgotten that Fishy has risen up from the depths of hell specifically for that purpose? Or was that the depths of WalMart? The sob doesn't even give us credit for "toiling".

GO HUSKIES!!!
BEAT SMU!!!

Toilers are we.

Because you can't do this for just about any high major program or professional sports team for that matter.

Act like UConn is the only school that does this...
Well we do do it far better than most.

Anyone else hate that the entire internet seems to be a blog to most sports reporters?

They forgot about our dabbles in the culinary arts (tailgate menus), comedy & satire (any commentary having to do with Thunder chickens, Rutty, & Domers), & dramatic arts critique. We are, after all, a virtual university in our own right.

I like how it says, "There, you can get stats, links to all the news stories about UConn women’s basketball (and men’s basketball and football)" like woman's basketball is our only important sport.
The writer could have been talking about the Boneyard blog instead of the Boneyard forums. I do tend to write more stuff about the women.

Alix (spell your name much?) Boyle is a fn moron………

…..someone had to say it!

Taking a step back and looking at the lay of the land, it does seem like most of you are toiling.

Thankfully, I pull you all up by association. You are all welcome.

Anywho...anyone think the guy with the basketball wig has more than just a hint of pure insanity in his expression?

We don't 'toil'.

We soar like majestic eagles, kept aloft by the thermals of our keyboards.

It just looks like toil.
Fishsticks..it looks like you still have your penchant for verbosity :)

I take umbrage at the word "blog".

We are a conglomerate of dysfunctional observers emitting obtrusive and illogical views of the Husky kingdom that occasionally results in verifiable truths.

We are much more than a "blog'.

Yeah thanks, but am I or am I not blogging?
