Pac 12 fans should be proud of the way this team is playing. They've clearly studied Geno's techniques. This team has a fine future.
 
MD getting a dose of what a healthy UConn team would have done to them. Bando is starting to do a Nurse/Lou on them.
 
Magnificent defense from Maryland on those two consecutive possessions.

(for those viewing this thread after the fact, that was sarcasm :D)
 
This game has the same feeling as the Duke game. Maryland makes a push and Oregon just sustains. They come back down the floor and make a play. I felt like in the Duke game the Blue Devils could never just get over the hump.

So that extra energy from MD has added 3 points to the Duck's lead!
 
Oregon better get a little more space between them because it will be a tough 4th quarter.

I'm just shocked at how sluggish MD looks. I keep repeating myself because I can't believe it.
OR is really confusing them by slowing down the game - reminds me of our old Big East foes Villanova.

Thinking their big sitting and Jones trying to get the act together. Is Maryland's Destiny to be a win or a loss. I hope the latter, if only to hear Brenda's graceless carping.

Has to be Destiny Slocum time if Maryland is to win this game. Also Maryland needs Oregon to start playing Dumb with silly turnovers and rushed shots.

Any chance that UConn was overlooking UCLA went by the wayside with how Oregon is playing Maryland.
 
Hmmm - maybe the committee got Maryland as a three seed wrong - should have been a 4?! :eek::cool:

I suspect that Geno, while wearing a Q T-shirt, has used the Cinderella very well with the Huskies.

Maryland looks like a tired and uninspired team. Oregon better be ready for a 4th quarter fight though.
 
Maryland has yet to make a three this game!
 
Oregon has to make shots and not turn the ball over. The lefty for Oregon missed three straight shots from the same point, and someone else missed a layup. That can't happen if they want to win.
