Briyona jones has done a really good job guarding on those switches. For a big kid, very good perimeter defender.

This is when a coach hopefully learns to not look past their next opponent. Brenda will not learn.

Looks like Geno will get his wish if we get beyond UCLA: playing a team we have not played this year.

How did this Oregon team lose 13 games? Great game and execution... Looks like Oregon is going to hold on and advance to Elite 8.

Way to go Ducks!!!!

It certainly does appear that the Turtles 3-seed was way too high.

The freshman I...u is very impressive. Didn't want to like her, but she is the real deal.

Heck, they barely got by Temple in the 1st round. Then they made Maryland look like a 14 seed.

From the looks of her current roster and incoming freshmen MD doesn't seem to be much of a threat until Austin comes in 2018. Frese will never forget a QFinal game where her team didn't make a single 3 and her seniors failed to lift them and execute through adversity.

I believe the subtext to SCspur's comment is really why can't the Carolina's host a regional? Why always Lexington? Those SC fans would fill the seats of any regional in that area yearly. If the NCAA is looking to build this sport how better?
You hit the nail right on the head! But it's not just the Carolinas it's anywhere in the south. The NCAA wants to fill the seats on these but Rupp Arena was nearly empty last night as well as The Chesapeake Energy Arena. But prior to the selection show everyone made a fuss about how Baylor or ND fans could fill up their regionals. I just think the NCAA needs to rethink either the hosting sites or the teams they place on them if they want a better turn out.

But I'm glad the UCONN fans should put their regional and actually get to see their team play in person.
