Do they ever? Yes, they do. Our guys get on the floor all the time.
And the thing with Omar, there is no way he is playing lazy. If anything he's pressing. That's what guys do when they're in a slump and it results in bad decisions. That's bad play, not lack of effort.

Not bad BLUE agree with the Brimah thoughts kind of.......he doesn't hurt due to his shot blocking prowess and the more minutes the faster the learning cycle no doubt......Like Giffey in there too but need one of the 2, he and LK to come off the bench. Need that experience and impact when called upon.......Boat really looked better with his choices on pulling up for the short jumper rather than getting in too far......maybe its time!

Expectations seem to be ballooning a bit now. We have had a good start but our 4 best wins were by 1 or 2 points against teams, 3 of whom subsequently had their collective butts kicked (and Florida without a healthy Wilbekin will likely get slammed by Kansas and Memphis). Before the season, sweet sixteen was looked at as an admirable and achievable goal. All this talk about Dallas, final four and winning a championship are a bit over the top at this point.
All the teams appear to have some flaws right now. However, by February a lot of them will be sorted out. I still think it will be a pretty wide open tournament that will depend a lot upon matchups (e.g. Syrabuse could likely make quite difficult for teams like Kensucky and others who don't have experience with a zone but could lose to teams with strong guard play, who know their zone).Ok so who is your pick to win it all? In the alternative who are your top 4 seeds in the tourney as of today?
Edit: Who do you foresee as legit Final4 contenders?
Best Team:
Bazz
Giff
Kromah
Daniels
Brimah (Play him 17-20 mins and roll the dice on his development)
JMHO...
I think that team logging the most minutes together is good enough to get to Dallas and maybe win it all.
Boatright is the 2nd best player on the team. He has to be out there. You overrate Kromah.
Back to the OP, you can't argue much about undefeated. But I would like to see a bit more from DD and Omar. I don't think they have matched their last years' best yet.
Better to be humble and temper our expectations IMO.

Lazy no I agree but 1 time for sure he had a chance to get the ball and elected to stand and bend rather than dive like the guy from Maine. You really think playing against Maine allows you to be more careful? Glad you never coached my kid.......every game, every play you play no different!
I'm going to reinforce your argument mau, though in a way that might make you cringe a little. Over on the women's side no player takes off any play at anytime against any opponent. Auriemma may instruct them to work through their half court offense to ease up on the pedal, but they are expected to give 100% effort 100% of the time, and any individual player no matter how important will sit the bench otherwise.
Yes they recruit elite talent, but so does a handful of other women teams, including Duke's women (in fact, I believe Duke has a greater number of Mickie Ds). What really sets them apart from the few other teams loaded with elite recruits is this 100% effort.
Sorry to interject the women team into this, I know that can be a sensitive topic over here, yet I can't think of a better way to reinforce your point.
