I thought Alisha was a weak Rookie of the Year--relative to players like Wilson, Stewie, Griner, Elena, Maya, Diana, et al. Part of the reason she won ROY was that the #1 pick, Kelsey Plum, took some time to adjust to the W. It was also a very weak draft, with Coates at #2 and Akhator at #3. It is also hard to tell what the offense is in Dallas, because it looks like a free-for-all. But Alisha has been solid and has improved some of her career stats. Her 3-point shooting is at a decent .364 this year, and FT shooting is a stellar .907. She has decent size, quickness, and versatility. She's clearly a key on the 3x3 team.

I am very impressed with Plum and Alisha, and not surprised by Stef's ability to lead the team. I do not think they can take the top medal, Young is too inexperienced and has an incomplete game for the 3 x 3.

Gray has been underrated since at least her freshman year at UNC, maybe longer.

She went from being overshadowed by DeShields that year (even though her numbers were better, Diamond got all the press) to being overshadowed by A'ja at SCar to being overshadowed by Arike at Dallas. She's not the very best at anything but she does everything well (including shot-blocking apparently!). Handy skillset to have on a 3x3 court.
Alisha Gray is my favorite non-UConn player, which is why I still follow the Dallas Wings.

Could have been more painful as we missed 3 FT's . Good even performances from Stef, Allisha and Plum. Young will have to pick it up for the final, She looks alot like her first year in the WNBA where she could not make a mid range shot.

Allisha kept taking off her glasses at times and played maybe better. Hmmm

By the way, when is the second semifinal?

Believe the listed time was 5:10. I assume it will be shortly after this Russia/Serbia men’s semi.

Young 28th out of 32 with 16 pts.

ROC wins 21-14l China could lot buy a 2pt shot.

Finals are at 8:55 am this morning.
and for diehards, the bronze game between China and France is 7:45. The game to get on the podium can be just as intense as the gold medal game.

I thought Kara Lawson was to be the side line coach for the Women’s 3+3 team.
I don’t see her there? Can anyone explain this to me.

Team USA leading but have missed some point blank layups. They should have a 8 point lead instead of 5 point lead. Russia has committed 6 fouls which could be use down the stretch.

USA now will be shooting two foul shots on all fouls with 4 minutes left... USA up 5 Points. Should be more.

Stef missing free throws and bas passes. Russia cuts lead to three points. USA playing sloppy.

If we win this game, it'll be on the free throw line. ROC over the foul limit.

Great effort by the US team. Good team defense. Stef was a monster on the boards. I don’t think the US hit a single shot from the arc, but they forced contact throughout the game, putting the ROC in jail with 10 fouls.
