Croatia vs Denmark today 3/14/ 2026 Denmark 81 Croatia 61.
Denmark leading wire to wire. Juliana Okoson, 6 ' 4 " for Denmark,
doing much of the damage. 23 points in 31 minutes, 13 rebounds.
Juliana is 25 years old and plays professionally in Sweden. Clearly
an age and experience advantage over Olivia Vukosa. However, they
were often not match up against each other on the floor, Okoson often played
"off" of Olivia on Denmark's defensive end. On the other side of the
floor Olivia, at times, was a step slow on Okoson's spin moves for baskets. Olivia did not do poorly, tying upOkoson for jump balls and making her give up the ball with good man to man "D". But generally, it was clearly a mismatch in my eyes.
Olivia's stats: 17:59 minutes, 2 points, one for four from the field with no three
pointers, no foul shots, 4 rebounds, 2 fouls, no turnovers, no blocks with
a plus/ minus of -10 and an efficiency rating of 7. It was a poor shooting
day for most of the Croatian team... everyone seemed to be missing
layups and some "bunnies". I saw no exact reason why Olivia played
so few minutes (I missed the later part of the game). Denmark was the
superior team AND their shots were just bouncing in!
