We're a second half team. If Miller can stay on the floor, our defense will pick up.

Also, Colorado's defense hasn't been that good outside the paint--we've just missed a lot of good looks.

Down 9, I don't feel that bad.

Break down the bad game plan. Did it involve a ton of dumb fouls and an inability to hit wide open jump shots? Because if that was his plan I'd agree with you.

Pac 12 was loaded this year. Meanwhile, we didn't dominate the American. Don't get me wrong. We are strong defensively, but have very little offense from the 4 and 5 spots.

Stop blaming the officials UConn has looked awful from the jump. Have no answers for Scott and are missing open shots.

Yeah honestly, there were not many bad calls, we are playing pretty awful, defense has been bad and pffense has been worse, the officials aren't always out to get us guys...

Amazing that it only happens to UConn, and even more amazing that it happens every game. This team is always in foul trouble. Maybe that's not a coincidence.

There have been anticipatory calls, most egregious Miller's block which was called as his second fould and sent him to the bench with roughly 10 minutes to go in the half. Then, go figure, Colorado goes on a run.

UConn is doing poorly in nearly every way right now but having Miller out for so long has direct implications for our entire game on both ends.

We can talk about officiating and rebounding, which have been questionable, but the real problem is shooting:

Most weren't bad. The shot Miller blocked on Scott changed the game. We're a much better defensive team with Miller on the floor.

On the positive side: Brimah has only 1 foul.

They aren't going to run away from us, and we can't shoot that bad another half.

Well for one I don't know why he would put Dham on Scott rather than Brimah, and our zone doesn't really play to our strengths

Well that went about as bad as possible and they're only down 9. Hopefully they start playing better in the 2nd half and make a good run. Colorado can't shoot 50% in the 2nd half can they? I really don't want to see the Huskies go out with a whimper like 2012.

Colorado's shooting percentage is inflated because they haven't had to shoot all that much. They're always at the FT line.
