This weekend is Coach Wootten’s Top 150 camp for boys and girls. They invite the top 100 seniors, 50 juniors, about 15 sophomores, and this year they added some freshman late. Here are the names I have seen on the list of confirmed attendees:

2024-
2023- Amiyah Reynolds, Sole Williams, S’mya Nichols,
2022- Ayanna Patterson, Timea Gardiner, Maya Nnaji, Ysabella Fontleroy, Ruby Whitethorn, Ashlon Jackson, Mila Reynolds, Kiersten Johnson, Amina Muhammad, Tionna Herron
2021- Kelbie Washington, Chante Embry, Nyah Wilson
Also

Of the 3 at Sidwell (her+ Kiki Rice and Jadyn Donovan) she might end up as the best player.

That would be my guess too. Her and Edwards at the 3/4 positions would give UConn the #1 class by themselves.

Caroline is going as well. She is also working out with Prospects Nation the day before.

Where did you find that list?

A coach showed it too me. It was just a print out of the PBR rankings marked with who had said yes and no.

There is a disagreement about it being a Mcdonald’s AA evaluation camp. The early marketing of the weekend said it was but McDonald’s said there is no such thing.

Here is a screen record of the attendees at Coach Wootten’s Top 150 girls. The girls first games start at 1325.

I wonder if the players were measured or if they gave their own heights, I see Bollin listed at 5’10.

.-.
Jefferson was a tremendous player, but she is a totally different player than Fudd! Jefferson scored in basically 2 different ways, either a wide open jump shot or a fast break lay up on a run out or a steal. Her shooting % numbers where inflated because of this. Fudd is more of a volume shooter, and it will be significantly harder for her to put up the same efficiency numbers. This is NOT intended to be a knock against Fudd, I am just trying to point out just how hard it is to put up a 55%/45%/90% line.
Statistically, the 55%/45%/90% is not just difficult, but as far as I know, no woman has done it since the 3 pt line was painted on the courts... Not Impossible as the future is still a bright possibility in Storrs!!!!
It's time for Azzi to go "shopping" with Paige in Storrs, I think there are many 3-pointers she will like there!!!!

UConn POI Ashlynn Shade ('23) doing well at the aforementioned Wooten 150:

.-.
Watch carefully to see Caroline Ducharme (#608) as well as UConn targets/POI Ashlynn Shade (#114), Shay Bollin (#214), and Ashlynn Jackson (#208)

Is Bollin still a UConn POI? According to Wbb blog she hasn’t received an offer yet, and it looks like there could be 3 or 4 forwards ranked ahead who do have offers from UConn, with 1 of them already committed.

I don't know if Bollin has a UConn offer, but I've yet to hear UConn is no longer interested in her.

TCU? Wake Forest?? Memphis??? Dayton???? Not sure any of these four should be in any discussion with the others on the list. Nice to see BC showing some promise.

Luckily it’s her list and not yours right?
My point is a top recruit can discern what their skill is with in a program and within that schools conference.
Looking at the 2019 Massey and schedules states the obvious on the point I was making:
TCU was 26 with a pitiful OOC of 98 at least this school could be a top 3 in the Big12
Dayton was 77 with their schedule 107,
Memphis was 157, and 102
WF was #73 with a descent 54 schedule
And yes it is her list but if I have Ivy leagues looking at my academic record, why would I also consider a community college?

Her
precut list

Prospects Nation's Brandon Clay on players who impressed at his training session:

Ashlon Jackson
Texas, Class of 2022
POSITIONG
HEIGHT6' 0"
COMMITTED TO

Undecided
TBA

Jackson’s game blossomed this spring / summer allowing her to enter the elite level guard grouping regardless of who else is mentioned. Much like our training session in Austin this past June, Jackson was dialed in from the opening drill looking to expand both her shooting range and footwork as well. In the process, Jackson showed legitimate range out beyond the 23-foot line.

Good points.

I suspect that she's taking a page out of her new team mates' (Day-Wilson & Lattimore) book with respect to this. Posting final schools isn't something commonly seen in Canada from what I've seen over the years.

We'll see how this plays out as the year / season progresses. It's still up in the air as to whether teams like Royal Crown will be able to compete this year due to COVID and protocols here. Her school also has a challenge regarding where they play too. If I heard correctly, Royal Crown is not part of the OSBA league where they would have competed against other prep schools.

Pretty exciting to hear all the kudos for our latest CD! She sounds like the real deal!
Looking forward to seeing her contribute to next year’s championship! (Knock on wood!)

A little look at Ms Deberry.

I like that the ball stays high with her. It is a highlight tape so who knows how consistent she is with that but looks good. If this is a reflective tape, I think she could get a lot of time playing the PF/4 high post and doesn't need to play only the C/5 down low.
