Good job Milford, and like Carnac I hope Uconn's potential recruits take note! I think the two biggest selling points for players might be just the number of alums on WNBA rosters and the number of Gold Medals earned by Uconn players. Also I don't recall exactly, and maybe others can fill in the details, but several Uconn alums have completed the incredible trifecta of National Champion, WNBA Champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist.Ya know Milford, there’s a distinct pattern here even a blind man could see. USAF Academy campus is awesome. I lived in Colorado Springs for 4 years. The Academy was a client, so I got some behind-the-scenes access. I remember a seismographic lab where they said they could detect and pinpoint an underground nuclear test anywhere in the world. Their athletic facilities are awesome. Doubled as the Olympic Training Center for a while, until the Olympic Committee got their own digs next door.
I worked on the design of that bridge in the upper center of this picture and have attended a wedding there. Yes, it is a beautiful campus.
I see that while Deberry, Poffenbarger and Ducharme are numbers 3, 6 and 11, respectively, with Prospects Nation, they're numbers 15, 30 and 5 with Hoopgurlz. Perhaps more fitting for a new thread but: Asjha Jones is one of 11 players in the world — including seven who played with the UConn women’s basketball team — to win NCAA and WNBA titles, and Olympic and FIBA world championships gold medals.
That’s is also one of the odder lists/tiering of schools I have seen.
Some of these kids enjoy the attention they get from listing schools that they may have gotten interest from but not necessarily a solid offer. I doubt we’ll be seeing her at UConn.That’s is also one of the odder lists/tiering of schools I have seen.
1. UConn but no ND, SC, Baylor, ND, Stanford, Oregon as other top echelon recruiting programs.
2. Louisville, FSU, NC, NC State, Duke and MSU in the next tier
3. Clemson, Florida, WakeForest in this tier
4. NC A&T and East Carolina are curious at best.
So I too am a bit dubious on this recruit, but then again, what do I know, I haven’t been able to stay at a Holiday Inn Express in a while so my insight is nil
