The Super 25 Preseason High School Girls Basketball Rankings have been released. Check out which teams make up the top 25.

They would be a legit No 1 possibility if Minn let it's teams travel out of state. Last year three of their key players were an 8th grader and 2 freshmen and they were undefeated in a competitive league.

A lot of these HS rankings got to teams/players that play a national schedule.

And anything that claims that Bueckers has something to prove should be welcomed by UConn fans.

Clay Kallam's preseason high school all-americans include Paige Bueckers on the first team and Mir Mclean on the second. Nice video comp of Paige there too.

First Naismith watch list is out.

Of the 50 players, 4 are future Huskies: Bueckers, Edwards, Mclean, DeBerry

2020 Naismith Trophy Girls High School Player of the Year Preseason Watch List

The Naismith Trophy has announced the 50 players on the watch list for the Girls High School Player of the Year award. The Player of the Year and All-America teams will be announced in March by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.

Back to the Naismith lists. Of the 50 players listed the only 4 non-seniors are Azzi Fudd, Amari DeBerry, Brook Demetre, and Olivia Miles.


There is also a watch list specifically for underclassmen. Saylor Poffenbarger is on it as are UConn POI Betts, Citron, Ducharme, Gardiner, Johnson, McPherson, Moore, Rice, Rivers, Verhulst, Von Oelhoffen, and Wolfenbarger.
