November General CBB Discussion Thread (Non-BE)

St John's with the L (maybe doesn't help UConn but I like seeing them lose) and Cuse hanging tough with Houston.

Excited for Bama/Zags tonight - feast week is my dream

Anthony himself is only 4/9 at the line, doing a great job of drawing contact but he's gotta cash in. A guard sitting below 50% with that volume is ridiculous

Houston finally getting called for the constant fouling they do. They spend all game mauling and are shocked when they get call for a foul.

Cuse looks like they've now let go of the rope, they really put themselves in a bad spot going 11/25 from the line. if they had been shooting 75-80% they would have had a lead to withstand the 2nd half Houston push.

Does Houston have guys out? Barely beat Auburn, now struggling with the Division 2 school from upstate NY.
They’re not nearly as tenacious defensively without Roberts and Francis. Those guys worked off each other and rolled back to the rim like mad dogs. Still Good, but not nearly the extended pressure at point of attack with hands in passing lanes. Solid but not that crazed stuff they exhibited last couple years.

.-.
Cuse had no rhyme or reason on offense as they tried to fight back. They have some talent but not sure about Autrys ability to do much with it.

Houston does get away with murder on D, their reputation still resides in the refs heads.

Not watching but Anthony has 10-0-1. I guess he looks better than his stats?
He's tailed off a little. But he's a freshman playing against the top 3 team in the country who are extremely physical. He had a strong showing.

guess I was wrong about Cuse letting go of the rope, impressive comeback from them but Houston still has no process on their offense. Sampson should have hired an offensive coordinator a long time ago

.-.
Illinois is on the Big Ten Network against UT Rio Grand Valley. Are they even DI? 11 minutes in and the Illini are struggling with the Vaqueros. Looking ahead to Friday I guess.
