You can’t argue with what Michigan was able to do last night. They’re undeniably final 4 caliber, but I’ve got to see more to say they are clearly better than the rest of the country, UConn included.

As others pointed out, they looked very out of sorts a few times this year against bad teams already. I don’t have much faith in Elliot Cadeau running a championship team. Lendenborg is a monster though.

Michigan's major issue was turnovers prior to this week. If they run into rapid fire teams with lot's of great guard play that can put a lot of pressure on the ball, susceptible.

Because of the source. When another team or player has a great stretch you jump on board with the hyperbole and accolades. When UConn did it your response was meh there's a lot of better teams with better talent. And you wonder why a UConn board finds that weird?

I'm pretty sure if UConn beats Illinois by 40 we will all be doing back-flips. There's really no need for everyone to be getting triggered because Michigan is playing great and UConn hasn't played to that level yet. Ya'all need to simmer down. 100% It's beyond stupid prognosticating that we could beat a team like Gonzaga by 40 pts right now. What's the point? Mullins and a healthy UConn team have to prove it first. Its just young fanboys that only watch UConn. I like this thread because they usually guck up the others. Meanwhile we're 1-5 against the spread......

Of course - it’s still super early, although this is where a lot of resume building and conference strength is built. And you can start seeing who has the rosters than stand out.

Two things I’m not crazy about with Mullins. One, he’s slight. Two, he hasn’t played during a stretch you want your freshmen on the floor.

Really hoping DP is out next week as Kansas pulling out 3 wins with not DP was impressive. We need these wins, will take them any way we can as we continue to heal/get healthy.

Watching the third place game in Atlantis, VCU vs Virginia Tech. Not sure if VT is just bad or if VCU’s havoc playstyle is tripping them up but they have 12 points with 11:30 left in the first half

Nowell with some early minutes. Playing good on defense, but a rough first possession on offense. Dribbled the ball for most of 25 seconds and then dropped it out of bounds when he had an open lane for a layup lol

He's looked pretty developmental so far - VCU using him generally how we should have used him last year, sparingly off the bench. I think it's safe to say that he was not a kid that built to his ranking coming out of HS.

I noticed Illinois did that a few times today also. When you raise your arm, lead with your forearm to push off the defender multiple times on a drive to the basket with such force that the defender is pushed backwards, isn't that an easy offensive foul call?

Saw the same thing. There were a number of push offs not called- arm extended
