Minor point. Notice how Notre Dame shot and scored with less than ten seconds left? Can anyone remember UConn ending a game with this large a lead and not dribbling out the clock?
They are NOTRE DAME! They can do what they damn well please and don't anyone dare criticize them! They had to shoot, the tough Lady Vols were harassing them, poor things.

I am saying I have watched the Lady Vols last 6 games! BAMA, UGA, Arky, Missou amd UK and for sure ND all looked to be faster, More fundamentally sound, higher BBall IQ, better shooters, passers etc! But everyone keeps saying UT has more talent than the teams they are losing to! Sorry just not seeing it!
Not sure if anyone addressed this, but if you look at the Tenn roster, it's filled with High School All Americans and highly rated JUCO transfers.

2015: Cooper (12), Jackson (49)
2016: Harris (NR)
2017: Westbrook (2), Hayes (7), Davis (12), Kushkituah (57)
2018: Green (10), Massengill (25), Burrell (43), Collins (49)
2019: Horston (2), Key (46), Saunders (NR)

Cheridene Green is a JUCO transfer from ASA College and was a 2 time JUCO AA averaging 10.5 PPG and 16.5 RPG. They also have graduate transfer Louise Brown, from Washington State, averaged 6.4 PPG for them with 6 RPG. Not great numbers for a 3rd year player but they have her too. Both Brown and Green are tall (6'3"+).

Not sure if Jackson was a HS AA, but I think Kushkituah, Collins and Burrell all were as well as all the other higher rated players. That means that they recruited 10 high school all americans over the past 4 seasons. Both Cooper and Hayes transferred out, but that means they have 8 on the roster now, and Green was a JUCO AA, so really 9'ish. Hence all the comments about the talent.

Name 5 teams who have recruited better than Tennessee over the past 5 seasons. Maybe a couple, but I don't think there are even 5 who have recruited better as a whole. Maybe UCONN, Texas, Baylor and ND? And not even sure about those 4...

@EricLA ask and he shall receive! Actually quite a few times numerous posters have listed the Tenn talent and your recap, while not 100% correct sends the message that yes, they have individual talent. But not a cohesive team talent, which, you know, is the coaches job.
Here are the last 5 years of class recruiting program ranks.
Tenn is 6th. Whenever a team did not qualify as a Top 20, I used #30 as the default
Stanford, SC, Baylor ND and Louisville ahead, Texas, UConn right on Tenn heels.

Pat didn't pick Holly. The then AD Dave Hart picked Holly. Pat wanted to coach 1 more year.
Whether Pat was nudged out or resigned voluntarily, there's no question she handpicked Holly as her successor. Not even the maniac Lady Vol fans dispute that Holly was Pat's Choice.

I do think that is accurate. While Pat may have wanted another year and there was more than smoke about the way she was handled in that, it was clear that Pat was standing back in games and letting others do most in game stuff.

Micki DeMoss was very upset with the pick of Holly over her, so Micki ended up at Kentucky where she left after a short time and ended up at Texas as an Asst Coach to Gail G.
