Not sure if anyone addressed this, but if you look at the Tenn roster, it's filled with High School All Americans and highly rated JUCO transfers.
2015: Cooper (12), Jackson (49)
2016: Harris (NR)
2017: Westbrook (2), Hayes (7), Davis (12), Kushkituah (57)
2018: Green (10), Massengill (25), Burrell (43), Collins (49)
2019: Horston (2), Key (46), Saunders (NR)
Cheridene Green is a JUCO transfer from ASA College and was a 2 time JUCO AA averaging 10.5 PPG and 16.5 RPG. They also have graduate transfer Louise Brown, from Washington State, averaged 6.4 PPG for them with 6 RPG. Not great numbers for a 3rd year player but they have her too. Both Brown and Green are tall (6'3"+).
Not sure if Jackson was a HS AA, but I think Kushkituah, Collins and Burrell all were as well as all the other higher rated players. That means that they recruited 10 high school all americans over the past 4 seasons. Both Cooper and Hayes transferred out, but that means they have 8 on the roster now, and Green was a JUCO AA, so really 9'ish. Hence all the comments about the talent.
Name 5 teams who have recruited better than Tennessee over the past 5 seasons. Maybe a couple, but I don't think there are even 5 who have recruited better as a whole. Maybe UCONN, Texas, Baylor and ND? And not even sure about those 4...
