Years ago, Pat Summitt visited a recruit and had her picture taken with the recruit and her family. Someone - intern? - from Tennessee gave it to a newspaper, it was published, and there was a kerfuffle. I think it was rightly judged as a minor violation, no punishment, but some UConn fans enjoyed the incident at the time so it was discussed here.

Anywho, unless the NCAA changed the rules, I think this picture is a no-no.Maybe Johnson being the one to post it makes it ok? Not sure.

If it's a still a violation, SCar and 100 other are guilty too. When a recruit visits SCar -even unofficially - she frequently has her picture taken in a gamecock uniform with Dawn. The school doesn't release the photo, but the recruit frequently does.

Having watched her play I would say she's definitely that elusive creature known as a wing. She's developing a solid 3 pt shot and that seems to be her preference. She runs the floor extremely well and is a better ball handler than most players her size. She does go inside at times and plays through contact and is a very good ft shooter. Being so young she has plenty of room to improve especially under the right coach. Her performance at the U19 world cup is what garnered her a lot of interest state side. She did have a more difficult time when playing the U.S. team for the final but that's to be expected.
Her stat line :
Overall : 24 mins, 12.3ppg, 44.3% FG, 36.8% from 3, 86.7% from the line, 5.8 reb/gm, 1.3 ast/gm, 2 fouls/gm, 2 to/gm, 1 block/gm, 2.8 +/- and 13. . rating.
vs. USA : 26 mins, 10.0pts, 36.4% FG, 40.0% from 3, 0 ft attempts, 2 rebounds, 1 ast, 1 foul, 0 turnovers, 2 steals, 3 blocks,
-23 +/- and 11 . rating.

I'm sure SC will be fine recruiting going forward. They're in the mix for a lot of the top players in 2026 and I expect we'll be hearing about a pair of birdies in the nest soon enough.

6’4 and guard doesn’t exist to me on the women’s side. I can’t imagine any world where she isn’t playing at least small forward. She’s kinda similar to Satou Sabally in size and ability, so I see her as a stretch-4.

You are correct. Although a recruit can take a unofficial visit to campus before June 15 following their sophomore year, they cannot take photos or interact with coaches at that time. Most likely is AI generated.

I haven't watched her game, but there are a few examples that sound comparable like Leonie Fiebich and Dewanna Bonner who can play some forward if needed but excel more as guards/wings. Honestly, the league seems to be getting taller at the guard position. I swear there are more >6'0" guards than ever before.

I felt good about Woliczko after the SC visit, but my gut has said Iowa all along. We’ll see. Any school will be lucky to have her. Great kid from a great family. Her dad reminds me a lot of Chloe’s dad. Very involved, loves Dawn.

It’s just hard for me to imagine the attraction of the Midwest for California kids.
