Cary high school is the same high school that produced Azura Stevens and Debbie Antonelli, I would like to see her land at VA Tech, they could be an up and coming program, with the 2018 guards they have coming in.
 
Washington's lack of recruiting success in the greater Seattle area continues. Recent commits by '19 prospects Brynna Maxwell (Gig Harbor) to Utah and Grace Sarver (West Seattle) to Washington St. Both are on the updated Prospectsnation list posted on another thread. Maxwell was the star of this year's 3A State Champs. I don't know what the deal is, this has been going on for years, with various different coaching staffs. Losing area recruits to other Pac 12 schools adds insult to injury.
 
Maybe after Utah nabbed a recruit out of Washington, UW can return the favor and nab one out of Utah. OSU fans are pretty keen on getting her as well.

Va. Tech has a 2019 commitment from another North Carolina post -- 6'4" Elizabeth Kitley -- who is an ESPN Top 50 recruit. Kenny Brooks is putting together some tangible recruiting classes.

There should never have been any doubt that playing time as a freshman is important to "some" recruits. For "some" it is probably The Most important thing.
There should also be no doubt that if playing time (as a freshmen) is of primary importance then UCONN WCBB probably not the right place for you.
 
Kemery Martin has picked in-state Utah. With 2 recent commits for '19 they are putting together a nice class.

Yes, it's a good pickup on its face, but Kemery Martin is a almost a carbon copy of Utah's other 2019 commit, Brynna Maxwell. Both are combo guards, both are 5'11", both have similar stats for their junior season (see below), so the prudence of her choice is slightly diminished IMO.

Kemery Martin should have picked Oregon State if she wanted the best opportunity to play on team competing for conference championships and deep NCAA tournament runs, but she will probably get more playing time as a freshman with Utah than ORST, that is if Brynna Maxwell doesn't out shine her at the same position.
 
Agreed, OSU should be better than Utah for the foreseeable future. They are stocked at guard and wing though, so early playing time could've been a big challenge for KM as a Fr. if she had gone there. Is it possible for KM and BM to play at the same time? Many teams go with 3 guard lineups and traditional positions are becoming blurred these days.

But... but.. ND is not in on Horston or Griffin- at least not that I'm aware of.
I'm much more worried about ND for Jones and Boston.

no way to really know if there was interest on either side...........that's too bad............one of the few talents left for UConn if Horston and Jones go elsewhere...............UConn recruiting strategy for 2019 is certainly a risky one............

I hope she chooses SLU. She would join a 6'5" all state center already committed there. The two would certainly lift the program to greater heights than it has ever experienced. Too bad Uconn is not on her list. Twice she scored over twenty over the Missouri state champs last season, Incarnate Word, Pheesa's former high school. The first game against them she scored over 30.

ND & MD are definitely 1-2 in 2019, but Stanford seems to be #3, which would be their top class in a loooong time

Kansas continues to get consideration by rated players the past few years with nothing to show for it. The coach is at least taking some shots at good players.

He's actually done more than just get consideration, as several top recruits have actually taken official visits to Lawrence, KS. But, he hasn't gotten anyone truly elite to sign on the dotted line (although Zarielle Green did give him a verbal commitment last Fall, only to rescind it).
