Apparently, FSU still has two scholarships to give. Now who in their right mind would take a 6 or 7 person class... I don’t know, but I feel like Semrau is just crazy enough to consider it.

And consider the class of 2018: she's already got center River Baldwin (remember her, gang?) and wing Sammie Puisis committed. Lot of undergrads hopping out of that Volkswagen ;)

And a few more international players to join them. And in the Class of 2017, they've got two Parisians, a Latvian and an Aussie. Emily Engstler from NYC will fit in just fine in Fall 2018. ;)

Engstrler's stock has risen greatly over the past year..........as a versatile two way player from the area, I wonder if UConn ever had any serious interest

A number of teams are stocking up talent Baylor, Tennessee, Texas, Florida St. Next year will be interesting.

If Kim doesn't schedule a strong OOC schedule next season every Baylor fan is going to be PO'd. I hope she adds Tennessee to the list.

Hang in there. I'm sure UCONN will be getting at least one commit for 2018.
I'm waiting for 19 & 20. I look at the Texas teams and feel like I'm at a banquet watching some fill up on delicious Hors d'oeuvre and having no room for the main courses.

I'd put money on that class of 5 at Baylor won't last longer than 1 year, intact. That is a lot of talent, with a lot of talent ahead of them.

Sorry EastTx., just my humble opinion. That being said, that is one heck of a class. Best wishes.

Hey, you know what they say about opinions...I think there is a reference to two body parts.

It will depend on their success in year one.

It's a very talented class. But, the 2017 & 2018 classes are very unbalanced and loaded in either the back court or front court.

I have been a huge Queen Egbo fan for the last 2-3 years; she is a natural rebounder on both ends of the court. Runs the floor very well, and a great leaper and shot blocker. But, she is a bit undersized (height and weight; I don't think she's taller than 6'2) to play Center in most offenses, which is where I think Baylor will play her based on having Nalyssa Smith and Aquira Decosta playing a combination of SF and PF. In some ways, she's like a taller Nina Davis who will be playing Center in college.

When Queen arrives at Baylor next season, Kalani Brown will be a senior and Lauren Cox will be a junior. This season, I think Mulkey will probably move Cox to back up Kalani at Center as they have no other depth there. So, come 2018, it will be interesting to see how Lauren Cox is used with Nalyssa Smith and Aquira Decosta also competing for front court minutes. Cox and Smith can shoot from beyond 3-point range, but I don't think that's part of Decosta's game, and it definitely is not part of Queen's game.

Prior to Charli Collier switching over to Texas, we were also recruiting Queen. I have no idea how we planned to use her on the court. We all know that 6'7 Sedona Prince is going to play Center at Texas; so, where did that leave Queen other than a combination of Center and PF? She's not a stretch PF has she really doesn't have a perimeter game; I think her shot currently extends to 10 feet.

I do think Baylor needed several front court players in 2018 after not getting any in 2017, and losing Mompremier. So, they filled needs for sure. Now it's up to Mulkey to fit the pieces together.

She will probably beef up the schedule the following year after the class of 2018 are sophomores and has had a season of game experience. Do you think the freshmen will make a big difference their first season or will it take a year to elevate the team to NC level?
