Non-Key Tweets

I love college football, so I'll watch just about anything. That said I feel that there were some interesting matchups outside of the playoff that drew viewership this year. Alabama v. Michigan is a good example. I also feel like the interest generated by the playoff did not diminish the interest in the rest of the games, but actually drew more viewers in. A rising tide lifting all boats to turn a phrase.

2M people watched our game on a Saturday morning. That ought to tell anyone why we still have these games.

Less games to bet on is not the right approach. Betting creates a lot of interest. How about extra payouts to each team‘s players, more to the winning team obviously. Cap the number of players on each team who can be paid. The bigger the bowl, the bigger the payouts. Why the Feck not at this point.
I want to disagree with this, but I don't.

I'm not here to troll. I just don't wear UConn tinted glasses and offer an outside, honest, perspective that some here seem to respect and others don't. I've been nothing but honest about my positions with you. I'm here, as I've said numerous times, to discuss realignment because this is the best page still discussing it. Some of your members have been antagonistic, unnecessarily. Hardly my fault.

It was not an invitation to chat.

Go away.

For trying to have a conversation? Lol, so much for such a "chill" fanbase. I've been nothing but respectful and honest. Some of you have shown your colors, however.
Called it!

(Not that it was particularly surprising.)

Solving a problem that doesn't exist... as im not even sure what you're trying to solve

You insult and then want to play the nice guy. You can't have both
Who have I "insulted" that hasn't unnecessarily attacked me first? Hm? I've tried staying on topic and I would love to get back on it now, but don't play the victim. Only thing I'm guilty of around here is not being a UConn fan, and I've been open and honest about that. All I've done is try to offer an outside perspective and discuss a topic I find interesting with you guys. That's it. But from jump, a small segment of posters have done absolutely nothing but harass and harangue despite my best efforts to stay on topic, to remain respectful and recognize I'm in your house. Don't pretend I've been given a fair shake around here. Even when I've been positive about UConn, sharing my belief that they're solidly in when the dust settles, explaining my rationale as to why I feel that way and why I've felt differently in the past, you and said small handful decided to mock the view and focus on trying to figure out what team I cheer for. So don't... Don't try and play some victim. You get the respect you give, and I've tried very hard to be respectful, be positive, stay on topic, and in return some of you have been downright boorish.

Save the Bowls and get the best players to play in the bowls vs. sitting out to enter the portal
Used to be, you'd watch a bowl and if someone entered the draft, you could still kind of get a feel for how your team would look the coming season. Now, it's untelling who will or won't be back.

Pushing even further out…

So the football championship game will be held AFTER most if not all colleges/universities have started their Spring semester...I guess that's one way to make it difficult to transfer to a new school during the winter break.
