In theory I agree with you , and have believed and argued against it this since Frank the Tank brought it up 4 years ago.Here is a thought. UConn makes absolutely no sense for the Big 12. Maybe that is why?
But from a long range survival strategy UConn is not as outlandish as I first believed
The long range problem for the B12 is its big fish in an extremely small pond status.
Its the best part of Texas,Oklahoma, Kansas,West VA and the small part of Iowa.
The ACC footprint is more significant.
If you seriously wanted to increase the exsporsure of your brand the huge still open Northeast coupled with the LDS national audience would make you a significant player. UConn's major problem is the power brokers of that conference really are not concerned about it as their future is pretty secure.
